My glasses broke yesterday so I called Stanton and they were able to make me a same day appointment! The staff was very friendly and took their time during my eye exam to talk to me about my eye health and make sure I felt comfortable during the exam with my results. The wait was a little longer than I thought it would be especially because I had an appointment but the experience and friendliness of the staff made it an enjoyable experience. The metal chairs need some cushion especially because with long wait times comfort for your customers is a must. The exam process was enjoyable as me and the exam tech laughed and had good conversation. She made sure to wipe down everything before. During the purchasing process the woman was so kind and she made sure we were comfortable with the prices and walked us through the discounts and features for my glasses. Again, very patient and kind. Stanton has a wide selection of different kinds of glasses and I found 3 pairs that I loved! The facility was nice and clean and you can tell they care. I will definitely be coming here for my glasses needs.

I had a very positive experience with Stanton Optical. I purchased a pair of glasses and had one repaired. The customer service technician (Albany) is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She explained what I needed to know about my purchase, for example the price and when I could expect delivery. I recommend this store for your optical eye wear needs.

Apparently, my new optometrist is Dr. AI. The last time I went to Stanton I saw 2 doctors for my eye appointment (the first one was 'glitchy). This time I saw no doctor. I saw a tech, who introduced herself to me twice within a few minutes of each meeting. She explained that I was being seen by a doctor today, but that I wouldn't be seeing him (because NOBODY can see behind the curtain). I fully expected the doctor to be named "Claude" but I didn't get that pleasure. I NAILED the letter test, because I watch Wheel of Fortune. After my appointment, I was led out to the clinic manager, Albany. She showed me my prescription after I asked for it and she explained that the numbers meant something higher than I would ever understand. (Kidding. She didn't explain my numbers at all.) I picked out my 2 for $79 frames and was not given guidance one time on my choices. With my progressive lenses and add-ons they were $293, a far cry from 2 for $79. If I had gotten the blue light coating then they would have been over $400. (That coating is a scam at best.) I waited almost two weeks for my glasses. Stanton has an in-house lab that appears to be used to store the glasses that were shipped from their distributor. I got a text that my glasses were ready so I threw on some clothes, jumped in the car, got there and pulled on a locked door. The office was closed because they had no power. But somehow my glasses were scanned that they were in... I could have understood being closed, but I was settled at home, after work, and rushed to Stanton so it was a special trip. When I got my glasses, it felt like, "You have your glasses, now go." They were super busy with 2 other customers in the office... Oh, I'm sorry, we're called PATIENTS because this is a MEDICAL appointment. I am not getting shirts at Target. A couple of thoughts from a guy with 30+ years of customer service experience. Make us think we're seeing a doctor, even if we aren't. I am now HIGHLY suspicious of who did my exam. I think I did my exam and you just gave me my numbers... After I asked for them. You should pay attention to your patients, when they are in your chair. Especially when there is nobody else in the office (which may explain why nobody is beating down your door). And, don't make your patients feel like a bother. This also leads to empty offices. Caring isn't hard, but it does take some effort. So does success. (By the way, my glasses work great. Because I KNOW MY LETTERS! LOL!)

My contacts are not expired, nor recalled but my brand new contacts are folding over and seem to have defects. I tried reaching customer service but refunds are not available. I can’t use these $300 worth of contacts because they are all bent/creased. I can’t even put them in my eyes. Maybe they got too hot in Texas shipping.

This was a terrible experience. Let me start by saying I'm retired military and have never had an eye exam outside of military doctors so my expectations aren't high (iykyk). Anyway, I went in for an exam. They seemed friendly checked me in and told me to go pick frames. I can read and understood price difference, but not one person asked if I needed help. Then took exam...it was what it was not great, not bad. So I went to pay and set up the frames. It was going to cost over $500 with insurance....without $116. I don't blame them for the insurance (but let's face it insurance is a racket). Fine whatever...get a text that evening they are ready. I go the next day at lunch and no one can find them. So I came back today and the prescription was so far off I got an almost instant headache. I got my money back and I will be going elsewhere.
