Unless you want to be charged 7-10 times what is advertised online, don’t go here! Trust me, it’s a huge waste of time. If you are considering going here because you saw some special offer advertised online, such as 2 Pairs of Glasses with free exam for $79, do yourself a favor and DON’T FALL FOR IT! These people acted like I just pulled that number out of nowhere. They quoted me over $700 and when I literally showed them the advertisement online of 2 Pairs of Glasses with a free exam for $79 for single-vision and 2 Pairs of Glasses with free exam for $135 for progressives, they literally had no idea where that special came from… despite looking right at it. They will not honor the specials they advertise online. I have a family of 4! Three of us need glasses, meaning they lost at least three customers today. And judging by the fact that I was there for nearly two hours and literally no other customers showed up, perhaps some of you already know. By the way, take a look at the photos I posted. One of them show the special right beside their front door… and they literally acted like they didn’t know where it came from.

Absolutely do not go here. I showed up to get an eye exam via appointment. Was a little sketched out they didn't ask for my insurance when I made the appointment. But figured when I got in they would. When I arrived somebody came up seems to have a hard time locating my information for my appointment but ultimately located it. I had to remind them that I did the online forms when they tried to get me to do them in person. They seemed very out of it. Then after my appointment when I already got my prescription when they went to charge me I had to remind them to take my insurance and they said oh sorry we normally do that beforehand. Went on to tell me that they are not in network. And then charged me $120 for what would have been a free eye exam through my insurance. And tried to charge me over 500 for the contacts . Wasted 2 hours here going through the process even after when they told me that they were out of network I said okay I will just do the eye exam and they spent 40 minutes wasting my time trying to convince me to get contacts through them still.
Don't go here they go for money over customers they didn't give us a physical prescription only via email plus they didn't send me a policy on any issue we have. We went back because my wife's prescription wasn't accurate we needed to adjust the prescription, we spent on the prescription and contacts and they said I have to pay for new prescription and contacts. I recommend to go walmart we never have a problem they will fix it at no cost.
This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at Stanton and I’ve been doing business with them for the last 10 years+. I had a good experience with John who checked me in and had me seen by the dr. However, the other employee, Kate who was helping me order my glasses gave me the biggest attitude, laughed at me for getting plastic frames (multiple times) over glass to save a little money, was very short with me and did not help me understand how exactly the price added up where John tried to help me understand. From the moment Kate entered the doors of Stanton (maybe from a break?) the energy changed and her customer service is terrible. No hello, how are you, how can I help you. Nothing. You’re losing sales because of this woman, I can guarantee you that. Rather than buying my glasses here like I always do, I think I’d rather pay for just the exam and spend my money elsewhere.
Got an appointment before I came same day and was seen all less than an hour. I felt really bad for the lady working all by herself but she really managed to take care of all the customers in the store and on the phone. Ive never seen someone multitask like her.. ever, it was incredible
