Stanton Optical

Myself, and I’m sure many others (saw 4 people try to enter the building when I was there for 10 minutes) would have appreciated a heads up that you guys are gonna be closed until September 2nd(had to call Stanton optical customer service line because no communication from the modesto store) sure it probably just happened this morning but I still have yet to receive any such automated courtesy message for heads up. Also one of the signs says for pickups: and lists Manteca and Turlock office phone number, neither of them have my order.

Justin made my experience at Stanton Optical incredibly easy and stress-free. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to make sure I found the right glasses without making me feel rushed or pressured. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does. Great customer service is hard to find these days, and Justin absolutely exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be coming back because of him. Highly recommend asking for Justin if you visit Stanton Optical!

I came in on April 2, 2026 & the customer service was amazing!!! Very professional, friendly & knowledgeable staff who worked very hard to ensure all patients orders were ready. Excellent customer service & this was such a great experience!!! There was a great variety of frames to choose from & the staff ensured that we found the right frames that fit what we were looking for. Mark, Evet & Diane were such awesome staff members at Same Day & it was a great pleasure to do business with this business due to their expertise & attentiveness!!! This experience actually made my day & this was my very first time having an eye exam or ordering frames & i didnt realize how good of an experience it would be & i can honestly say it was due to the staff & the great variety of frames!!!

I would not recommend coming to this location. I went there in FEBRUARY for a contact lens/eye exam and my prescription for my contact lenses were never finalized as well as the trials being ordered incorrectly twice. I had to tell staff which trials to order because they weren’t even educated on the trials that would have my prescription, as well as just fitting me into any trials that were uncomfortable in order to try to accommodate. I had the Elk Grove manager promise me he was going to handle the situation and order me the trials I needed, this was in April and now’s it’s May and I have yet to hear back. I called two weeks ago to hear from this locations Manager so we can come to a solution and still never got a call back. Staff is friendly but overall service is lacking and they need a better system and better education on their products so people can walk out happy

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I’ve heard bad things but gave them the benefit of doubt because they were able to get me in quickly. First red flag was walking in and not being greeted or helped. I was quoted over the phone 105 dollars for a contact exam, glasses exam and one pair of glasss included but then it turned into 150 and then 250-300. I also had to wait 2.5 hr just to find out how much it would be and completely wasting my time. The workers were all very nice but I just don’t recommend this place. If you don’t have hours and hundreds of dollars to spend here, don’t go.
