DO NOT GO HERE!! I should have checked Yelp before going here. I am beyond disappointed with my experience. Not once but twice this optical office got our prescriptions wrong. First they made my 4year old's prescription glasses incorrectly. Around the same time, I also ordered glasses for myself in a completely separate transaction with a different employee. Mind you I ordered my glasses before I even found out about my son's prescription error. After picking up my son's glasses, I compared them to his prescription myself and immediately noticed they were wrong. This should have been caught before they were handed to me, especially considering these glasses were for a young child. I took the glasses back and all they said was sorry. They told me they would reorder the glasses, but the replacement would take the same amount of time as the original order even though the mistake was entirely theirs. I was also told I could discard or donate the glasses since it was wrong. Then the very next day, they called asking me to bring the glasses back because they actually needed them. The lack of communication and organization was unbelievable. I was also told a manager would contact me to see if they could expedite the replacement because of their error. That call never came. When I finally called to follow up myself, I was told there was nothing they could do. Then, when my own glasses finally arrived, I couldn't believe they were wrong too!! Two separate orders, two different employees, and both prescriptions were incorrect!! This entire experience was a complete waste of my time. Just a sorry, no effort to expedite the replacements, no compensation for the inconvenience. Cancelled both orders. Never going back.

I was very impressed by the level of service provided by the staff at Stanton Optical. The staff helped me navigate my vision insurance web page, provided and explained options on eye glasses. They were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with their service
Walked in today for some simple frames, and got the benefits of their buy one get one sale. They were able to see me within 10 minutes to perform my FREE eye exam, I picked out two pairs of frames, and everything came out to just $79.00! Gave me my prescription and everything, and I wasn't even there for an hour. 5 stars! Just waiting on my glasses now....😁
I wish I could give them a 0 on the scale from 0 to 10. I made the appointment on the phone, I didn't know it was not the store people. So I get there and they have an optometrist on zoom and that's how I got my prescription. Which turned out to be wrong. No one ever mentioned that that's how they do it. I didn't ask about it cuz I never fathom that any legitimate optometry store would do that. I called the manager the next day cuz he wasn't at the store at the time. He avoided my calls. Until about two months later when he finally picked up my phone call and said that I could go to Modesto to see an optometrist in person. I lived in Stockton! Avoid them like you would the plague... Terrible business!!
So far not liking this. First of all their dosent NEED to be a technician when they are doing the eye exam they have someone on a TV doing it. Soooo wierd. BUT in order to pick up there HAS to be a technician in order to get them. OMG makes noo sense. I just hope my son is able to see good in them because im reading alot of reviews that are saying their glasses were distorted and some didnt need a prescription. I'm annoyed. My son has to wait 2 more days until someone will be there to give them to me. Been calling all week to then finally get a message that they are ready for pick up to then go and they say they can't give them to me. TF.
