Visited on 7/3/26 for my eye exam. This was the first time going. Staff was very nice and polite. I like them. However, getting my glasses has not been ideal. No one called me to let me know my glasses were in. I called Stanton a week and a half ago and get the call center. They had no idea if the store had my glasses or not. I get transferred to the store. My glasses couldn't be located. I forget about it for a week and a half. I send my son today (7/21/26) to see if my glasses are in. They were found but, the lenses weren't cut right so I have to wait a week for them to fix it. Not one call, text or email has been sent about my glasses being ready or about the lens issue. Communication is key.

I was scheduled for 3pm today, I didn't get my exam until after 4! I was told to pick out the frames, I had a 200 dollar allowance, so I made sure I stayed under that. After my exam and I get to the desk, I thought I would just pay for the usual lenses and taxes ....NOPEEE!!!! I am now REQUIRED to pay 150 for progressive lenses, they tried to charge me for an ultrasound of my eyes but didn't tell me it was a separate charge. I ended up getting 1 frame, the lenses. After insurance it came close to 200.00 yikesssss

They look to be a nice store but they are bad with information. we made sure to ask if our insurance was accepted, then after we arrive, they then told us they did not take it. once we showed them proof that they did in-fact take our insurance, the lady came out and said that they don’t do the type of appointment that we had scheduled. so not only did we waist our time and money on having to drive two towns over to get here but we were lied too. i do not recommend going here. my experience was very poor. they will try to run up your bill.

As others are saying in the reviews, my experience at Stanton Optical was disappointing. When looking for the right place to get my glasses the advertisements of Stanton optical looked promising. There was a great deal and same day glasses which I was in need of. Before Christmas of last year I stopped in to try to be seen. The lady at the front desk was very rude and dismissive. I ended up leaving feeling unwelcome. I decided to give them another shot about a week ago. The lady working the front desk, Flora, again was very rude and dismissive. They were very busy and there was very little communication or coordination. After my exam which went well I was rushed at checkout and not given a bill break down. I was also told my glasses would be ready Tuesday after 2pm. On my way home I noticed I was charged an additional $50 for anti glare which I didn’t ask for nor was discussed. Wednesday rolls around and I make the hr drive to get my glasses, upon arrival I’m told they had to special order my glasses and they’d be ready next week. I call today to find the status, they won’t be ready for another week. $500 and two weeks later and still no glasses. I am wishing I went somewhere else and I will not be recommending Stanton Optical to anyone else.

I have been to Stanton on Telshor 2 times in the last year once for my husband once for myself. I have been going to Stanton for several years and this is the first time I felt moved to write a review. I was so excited to see Elisa would be helping me again today. She is AMAZING ! She is knowledgeable, provides excellent service and very friendly! We dread getting new glasses but she is so helpful. I highly recommend Elisa she will make it a great experience! Elisa —Thank you for all your help today! You are the BEST:)
