Advertised 2 for $70 with free exam, which was extremely misleading. Went in for the appointment based on that. Once in the chair waiting for Dr. realized it was a virtual appointment? Ended up spending $400 on two pairs of glasses. It has been 3 months now and I suffer from chronic headaches due to these glasses. Took over a month to get the second frames. Was told it was an adjustment period on the headache and then I was outside the 30-day window. Will have to get reexamined and new lens since my vision has gotten worse from wearing the glasses sold from this store.

I am very disappointed with this location. Is been 3 or more weeks that I been waiting patience for my glasses. I already pick up one pair, but they were so dirty and I was not sure if they were the ones thay I need or they just pick a random pair and give it to me. I buy 2 pairs. I am still waiting for my second pair. They are not really profesional, I call them and on the phone they said oh I think another employed mix the glasses can you come and see wich ones are yours? This is not profesional at all. I already see a lot of negative reviews for this place, and is a little sad, I dont know why people in general dont care about nothing just their own benefits. But I will like to said that this guy who works here in this location FIX my problem. I am happy about it, but I really hope they do better, no just for me, for everyone.
had a very disappointing experience at Stanton Optical. From the moment I walked in, the whole place felt disorganized and unprofessional. The biggest issue was that the air conditioning wasn’t working, which made the office extremely uncomfortable, especially considering how long they made everyone wait. The wait time was ridiculous. Even with an appointment, I was stuck sitting there far longer than expected with little communication from the staff about what was going on. It felt like nobody was managing the schedule or the flow of patients. On top of that, the staff came across as unprofessional and not very attentive. Instead of trying to move things along or at least acknowledge the delays, it seemed like they didn’t really care about the customers waiting.
I’m writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent and deeply disappointing experience at Stanton Optical. I scheduled an eye exam for a specific time, expecting a standard level of professionalism and care. What followed was a series of red flags that not only reflect poorly on the business but also raise serious questions about health and safety practices. Upon arrival for my scheduled appointment, I was forced to wait over 45 minutes. During that time, I observed what appeared to be extremely unprofessional behavior from the staff — most of whom appeared to be in their early 20s, unsupervised, and unmotivated. One female employee, wearing a pink top, was visibly working at a computer just five minutes prior to my arrival. As I stood at the front desk waiting to be acknowledged, she proceeded to ignore me and eventually slumped in her chair, seemingly asleep — a moment I documented in a photograph. At no point did she or any other staff member acknowledge my presence or apologize for the delay. When the appointment finally began, I was surprised to learn that the exam would be conducted via Zoom with a remote examiner, rather than an in-person optometrist. The entire exam felt rushed and impersonal. The distance vision test took approximately 10 minutes, and the reading portion was conducted in a matter of six seconds, which I found both inadequate and highly suspect. Following this "exam," I was fitted with contact lenses. The prescription was clearly wrong. I returned to the store multiple times to address this issue. Each time, I had to insert a new pair of lenses — resulting in discomfort and growing concern for the health of my eyes. Each adjustment was done without any face-to-face consultation with an actual eye doctor — only the same young staff members making guesses and telling me to “give it a few days” to adjust. Despite trusting their recommendation to wait, the contacts continued to feel off. I came back once more, was given yet another adjustment, and again experienced no improvement. In total, I went through multiple sets of incorrect lenses, all without seeing a licensed optometrist in person. Eventually, I asked for a refund. Over the phone, I was told this would be no problem. However, when I arrived at the store, they informed me that the eye exam fee could not be refunded — even though it was the root cause of the prescription issues. I returned the contact lenses 100% unopened and in their original packaging. I was only refunded for the contacts, but not for the exam, which cost me nearly $200 for a result that was entirely useless. This experience was unacceptable — not only from a customer service standpoint but from a medical ethics perspective. I urge Google to investigate this location and ensure other customers do not go through the same.
I have just been there I had a 1145am appointment it took an overwhelmed lady who was serving one customer then two others who walked in and was waiting myself and another gentleman then 2 more customers walked in now it was about 1212l5pm still had no service . Then she started serving me it took her a minute stopped then attended another customer who came 30 minutes after me, whom she took I assume the exam room behind and stayed there for another 5 minutes. Could. Ot wait any longer had to lease before she came. 2 lessons learnt never go back, and they don't have any customer service. Very unprofessional and the store is unkempt
