I’ve been going to Sterling Optical at Tysons Corner Mall for almost 10 years, and they truly never disappoint. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this is a highly specialized practice, not a generic, high-volume chain experience. Dr. Kwok is exceptionally professional and thorough. The office uses high-tech equipment, and every exam feels precise, thoughtful, and personalized. I always leave confident that my prescription is exactly right. Eric has also been a consistently outstanding technician over the years. He is incredibly reliable, highly skilled, and meticulous in his work. Whether it’s prescription glasses, or prescription sunglasses, he ensures everything fits perfectly and feels comfortable. From helping select frames to making precise adjustments, he takes the time to get it right. He understands the nuances of facial structure and comfort in a way many places overlook, and he never rushes the process. They carry an impressive selection of designer brands including Gucci, Cartier, Dior, DITA, Ray-Ban, Bvlgari, Chopard, Saint Laurent, Chloé, Montblanc, Porsche Design, and Maui Jim, premium lenses like ZEISS, Asian fit frames and more. My family and I have personally purchased Diors, Guccis and Maui Jims here, and the quality and fit have always been excellent. If they don’t have a specific frame in stock, they can order it for you, which makes the selection even broader. After trying other places in the past, I can confidently say Sterling Optical stands out for its expertise, service, and attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Can’t praise Eric and the team as a whole more! I bought my first pair of Cartier 2 years ago from Eric. Eric is the person that cut my lenses so working with him for my purchase was great because since he was the one cutting my frame, he knew the in and outs about the measurements and specs. I have a pretty thick prescription so I was worried about getting a frameless, but he assured me it will be great. After he did so good, I referred my brother and a friend who also got carties from him and very happy. After two years, I wanted to upgrade my lenses and do a gradient tint and transition. Again, I was very nervous about the different shades and stuff, but Eric since he was cutting the frames made me feel at ease with his confidence. I just picked them up today and I literally couldn’t be happier. This place works as an amazing team- I called the front and the person that answered knew everything about the prescription without even looking me up from memory! He relayed my message to Eric right away who then texted me back answering my question. Thanks again!! - Bobby

I have been a long time customer at Sterling Optical. Truly a great experience with a nice selection of frames. I really enjoy both doctors but Dr. Kim was who I saw recently. She is excellent! Super patient and attentive to my concerns, I appreciate all the time and care she provides during the appointment. I never feel rushed or unheard. She’s super friendly and sweet! I have worked with most people in the office and everyone has been very kind when purchasing anything. Kevin is awesome! He is very knowledgeable and more importantly, honest. I don’t ever feel like he’s being pushy, and has always kept it real with me. I can tell there’s a lot of care involved from everyone on their team. I love Sterling optical Tyson’s, they are awesome!

Eric was outstanding! His attention to detail, patience, and knowledge truly stood out. He took his time helping me find frames that fit my face properly and selecting the right lenses for my needs. I never felt rushed or pressured, and he made the entire process easy and comfortable. I highly recommend asking for Eric specifically when you visit. The store itself also has a great selection of eyewear, with a wide variety of brands and styles I haven’t seen at many other optical stores. I had a great experience getting my eye exam, and a pair of glasses here. I saw dr Kim, who is very thorough. She took her time and was patient. She was easy to talk to. Kevin was very friendly and helped me select the right frames. I have Asian facial features, so I am very picky with my glasses. I tried on a lot of frames and he helped fit them to me. Overall 10/10 experience. I will be back
