The guy at the front was very helpful. I went in to buy a bluetooth speaker and waited about five minutes looking for someone that would unlock it for me.There was no one there. When I parked in the parking lot, the carts were literally coming twenty feet.Past the end actually blocking the drivelane where do you park I go inside? And there's 7 employees just chatting with each other. And one of the roads to park in the parking lot is blocked, almost

12/20/25 4Pm There are credit card chip readers now (no tap option) and I don't think I remember the security scan posts at the exits. 11/8/25 1:45pm. 30 people in the self checkout line, not counting those checking out and only 5 of 16 non-self service registers open. 5/19/25 2pm. The store is well stocked and neat. Employees are indifferent. Not interested in customers. Have to know prices when shopping there. Variances in price and watch bulk item purchases. Often, by ounce more expensive. Merchandise assortment is great compared to completion and a great number of sku's. Big problem, checking out. Lines and few cashiers and not the best or most positive. Saw many Employees, but they apparently aren't trained for back up cashiering. Plenty of parking in own lot and security cams. Liquer store overpriced on cheap beers
I seldom write reviews, and generally do so only when I've had an exceptionally good or bad experience. Unfortunately, this review is for an exceptionally bad experience regarding a return. I scanned through other recent reviews that showed similar experiences. I doubt that this will negative review will mean anything to the Oak Park Heights management, but I hope that it serves as an alert to other customers. I've shopped at the Oak Park Heights Walmart for many years, but this most recent experience has just lost them a long-term customer. I attempted to return a $22 tennis racket that had been used for only a month and was already losing its strings. I had the receipt and explained the situation to the customer service rep. She informed me that she couldn't return the racket because it was "beat up." If using a tennis racket daily for a month causes it to be "beat up" and unstrung, there's a problem with the quality of the racket, and I would expect Walmart to stand by the return of a defective item. Even after asking to speak with the manager, they refused to return this defective item. There was no partial refund, apology, or attempt to make this right for a long-term customer. Apparently, losing hundreds of dollars in business is worth it to decline the return of a $22 defective item. I then went to the Hudson Walmart to attempt to return this item. The only question that I was asked by customer service is how I would like my full refund to be processed. The difference in the quality of customer service between the two stores was like night and day. I have consistently received great customer service at the Hudson store, and I will now be shopping exclusively there. I recommend that you do the same.
This is one of our Walmart superstores. It is clean and organized, but also has a good staff. The parking lot has always been well lit after dark when we have been there. We have also picked up orders here. They have always been correct. The restrooms have also been clean when we have used them.
Won't refund a hose I bought a week ago that stopped working, despite having receipt. I even went back and grabbed an exact match from the store... unwilling, nor did they offer to even exchange. worst customer service ever. Amazon will let you throw anything in a paper bag and give full credit (sometimes tell you not to bother returning), no questions asked, so how can Walmart still exist? I had planned to buy some stuff after the return, but I just left and went to a store across the street instead. smart play Walmart.
