Strong Vision Center

I have been a customer with Strong Vision for almost 15 years and I continue coming back because of their excellent service! Dr Jeff is terrific and I always feel like I get the best value. The rest of the staff has always been friendly and Catherine is the sweetest and always remembers me, even if I only see her once a year. Would definitely recommend!

Last week I went here to get some new lenses for my glasses. From the beginning i was helped by the owner Catherine Forsthoffer and she was very nice. I was actually very pleased with the new lenses, i could see just fine however there was a scratch the right lens of these brand new lenses.. Ms. Forsthoffer acknowledged the scratch and ordered a new right lens.. The new lens arrived and unfortunately something was not right, I wore them for a day anyway and they gave me a headache. So I went back the next day and I was told "there is nothing we can do" She was unwilling to have another lens made even though I still had confidence in their abilities. They sold me a scratched lens and are acting as if its my fault that their replacement was unacceptable. I have been wearing glasses my whole life, I have never encountered such a problem.. I don't understand how they can sell lenses and say they are scratch resistant, that they have a warranty etc, and then when someone has a problem suddenly they say there is nothing they can do? I can not see at all without glasses so I opted to take the lens with the scratch rather than the lens I couldn't see out of. Extremely disappointed I asked for a token refund of any small amount because I don't believe I should be expected to pay full price for a brand new lens with a scratch in it. Unfortunately Ms. Forsthoffer was unwilling to negotiate any further she was even talking to me with her eyes closed at this point.. she kept doing so even after I mentioned it. she said " It's just something I do" This made me uncomfortable also it made me believe she made some kind of error that she didn't want to admit to. So anyway it looks as though we are headed to small claims court. I have no choice but to sue for the cost of replacing one lens. I would not recommend this business to anyone

I gave this store a 3 star mainly because of the girls they have at the front desk. They are unprofessional, talking and giggling about personal stuff. I had an appt and i arrived 30min early. After waiting for 1hour, people who were walk ins and who had later appts got called in first. When i complained these two girls just looked at each other and did not respond. The doctor appologized for the mixup although it was not his fault. The eye doctor was professional soft spoken and polite i give him a 5 star. The assistant helping with glasses measurement was also very nice she was working very hard tending to all customers. Like i said the 2 girls at the desk were unprofessional, character of indifference and they need to change that because the front desk is the first impression of this establishment. First impression does make a very big difference. I would recommend this place but it would be nice if they made some changes.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had when getting glasses. From the doctor who was kind and upfront to ordering my glasses (which only took two days). Strong Vision Center is now my go to place for glasses!

My mother purchase a pair glasses from them with her insurance it still cost her over $300. when she went to go pick them up and try them on she explain to them that she was seeing very blurry they said that was normal and it would go away in a week. later that week she was still seeing blurry and it was making her very dizzy so she went back they said they will only fix it one more time but she still having the same problem and they will not fix it again. Now she has a pair glasses that she can’t really see well out of that make her dizzy and she out of and she of $300 because they won’t refund her money.
