After being prescribed glasses for the first time in my life by an ophthalmologist, I stopped by Sturgeon’s Optical per their recommendation. The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. I’m completely clueless when it comes to glasses, yet they were so patient and fantastic. I tried on different frames for over an hour. The staff went to the back and even pulled out more frames for me to try, giving me honest thoughts on the different styles. I was so anxious, but their help calmed my nerves so much. I LOVE my frames and the lenses are amazing. They made sure I was straight, aligned, and comfortable before I left the shop. Since picking up my glasses from Sturgeon’s, I’ve looked at frames at other places like Walmart. I quickly realized how truly affordable the lenses, frames, etc were at Sturgeon’s. I will only be using Sturgeon’s Optical for all of my glasses needs. I can’t thank the staff enough.

The best place in town for glasses. They are extremely nice and are so helpful in picking out glasses. They’ve even helped me fix my glasses very late in the day on a holiday weekend. I highly recommend them!
The dr was good and thorough. The staff sucked. Couldn’t get any help picking glasses. I guess u have to be a man to get service. No good selection of frames. I Won’t be back.
I wasn’t even about to go there after the guy that called to remind me of my appointment was rude as hell & made a smart ass remark when I asked what the name of the place was called to make sure I knew where it was. He said “I don’t know I’m not the one who made the appointment” like fr? I’m surprised I could understand that part cus when he first called he sounded drunk and I couldn’t understand a word he said so I asked him to repeat all what he said & he continued to speak really fast & all blurred together. He wasn’t making any sense. All I could make out was when he said 4:30pm. So I said just cancel the appt cus with that type of disrespect already I knew I couldn’t trust anyone there with my eye sight. So might wanna get someone else to do that job cus he def sounded miserable & hateful. That will not keep business.
I only went to pick out some new glasses, as I already had a prescription. Staff was very friendly and professional. I had an overall pleasant experience here and even when I had an issue with my frames needing adjusted a few weeks after I had them made, they were able to get it taken care of quickly. I will definitely be returning when I need new glasses.
