I recently had the pleasure of visiting Summit Eye Care, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by Pearl, whose warm smile and positive energy instantly made me feel welcome. It’s not often you find such friendly staff in a medical setting, and Pearl truly set the tone for my visit. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, thanks to the helpful assistance of Kristine and Sheila, who were just as friendly and welcoming. It felt like I was surrounded by a team that genuinely cared about my experience. When it came time to pick out my new glasses, Pearl was a tremendous help. She patiently guided me through the options and helped me find the perfect frames. I ended up purchasing three pairs, which I never expected! I can’t express how grateful I am for her expertise—she really boosted my confidence with her suggestions. Finding glasses that flatter my face has always been a challenge, but with Pearl's help, I felt like I had a selection that truly suited me. Overall, my visit to Summit Eye Care was fantastic! The combination of a friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff made all the difference. I left feeling not only well taken care of but also excited about my new glasses. I live in East Anchorage and happily drive out to the Eagle River location because the experience is always worth it. I’ve been to this office two years in a row and have consistently had a positive experience. Scheduling my exam is always a breeze, and the optometrists and staff are friendly, professional, and welcoming every visit.

I had a wonderful experience here and can’t recommend these amazing people enough! The woman at the front desk was very warm and welcome and set the tone for an overall incredible experience. The appointment was quick and went smoothly and the staff helped me pick out glasses I get complimented on almost daily. I will definitely be coming back here!

Summit Eye Care in Eagle River provides exceptional service . The office layout is comfortable and efficient. The visit was thorough and I'm thank to have tranferred to their office for my eye exams and glasses. The doctor discussed my specifics with clarity. The staff are welcoming and were very helpful in picking frames. Very grateful to have this high qualitu eye care in Eagle River.

Dr Ashley Kettler is amazing! She is thorough, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. She spent the time necessary to hear my concerns and recent health changes. All my questions were answered and concerns alleviated. Tammy did my glasses fitting. She was wonderful! She knew exactly what my interests were and had all my previous prescriptions readily available for comparison. She was efficient, friendly, and made good recommendations. She was a pleasure to work with. I am thrilled to have Summit Eye Care in Eagle River and give them my highest praise & recommendation!!!
