It's owned by Kroger so you really have to watch them, they're constantly trying to cheat you on the supposed sale prices that they have they hardly ever ring up correctly. Items on sale or frequently out of stock and they conveniently don't get them restocked until after the sale is over. That being said, they do have a very good selection of merchandise.

Love this Fred Meyer location! They are renovating right now, but they generally have one of the best organic sections in the city. Fred Meyer is such a convenient chain to begin with because of the variety of merchandise that they carry. You can pick up apparel, shoes, hardware, cookware, garden items, fresh sushi and groceries while sipping on your Starbucks watching whatever they have on the big screen tvs displayed opposite the checkout lines. I have been known to take breaks from mega holiday shops in the furniture section (nobody seems to care) And for those in a rush, there are plenty of self checkout lines. The customer service is over the top. I dropped my 14 year old son off with a list and a bunch of coupons for an inaugural solo shop. It’s a big store and with so many brand specific discounts, I fully expected he’d be in there for four hours looking for items. I said…ask for help. He listened to me, which in and of itself made the experiment worthwhile, but he told me the employee who helped him literally walked him to ten different items to make sure he found everything. That says a lot about the training and attitudes of the staff. They have a bargain shelf in the produce section which is worth checking out whenever you stop by. I’ve come home with a dozen perfectly good limes for $1 and massive bunches of bananas for around the same. Everything a little brown or perfectly ripe, so you have to use right away, but generally really good deals. You’ll find everything you need and everything you didn’t need there, so make space in the fridge and bring lots of bags! Winter 2023: Doing a big remodel and it is definitely an improvement…more room for organic and local!!

I love this place! They have everything needed for home, kitchen, auto, sports and even a jewelry store. Grocery selection is excellent and in my opinion is better than the big box stores. Seafood was well stocked. Meat selections were great as well. Super good variety of cheeses as well. My go to place while on vacation in Anchorage.

Employees were very helpful in directing me to the location of the item I was looking for. The shelves were empty if my item, but the associates worked together to check back stock and confirm none were available, so my purchase was short changed, but the associates offered a very helpful shopping experience.

I love me a big red steak! A good cut, cooked to perfection and seasoned just right is hard to beat. Fred Meyer carries a good selection of tasty red slices. For all you vegans out there that want to try some burned cow flesh, this is the place. Your canine teeth will thank you for using them for what they evolved for (or were created for, depending on your tilt).
