I am extremely disappointed with my experience ordering contacts through America’s Best. I have been a loyal customer for 16 years, which makes this situation even more frustrating.
I placed my order 10 days ago (yes, I’m aware business days) and still have no tracking information, shipping update, or clear answer as to when my contacts will arrive. While I understand that manufacturing delays can happen and may be outside of the store’s control, the complete lack of communication and customer service is unacceptable.
I am almost out of contacts and asked if there was anything they could do to help in the meantime, such as providing a trial pair close to my prescription until my order ships. Instead, I was told to call around to other America’s Best locations and figure it out myself. To make matters worse, I was told a manager would call me back by the end of the day. After hearing nothing, I called back around 5 PM only to be told there was a “message” from the manager repeating the same information I had already received. No call, no solution, and no effort to help a customer who is running out of a medically necessary product.
Ironically, after getting nowhere with the Howell Mill location, I called the Buford Highway location and Antonia was incredibly helpful. She was able to figure out a solution for me almost immediately and actually took the time to assist me. Her professionalism and willingness to help highlighted just how poor the customer service has been at the Howell Mill location.
The lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability at Howell Mill is honestly unbelievable. This is not the first issue I’ve had with this company over the years, and once I finally receive these contacts, I will be taking my business elsewhere, finally.
Save yourself the frustration, don’t waste your time or money here. Go ANYWHERE else.
