Brought my Mom here for a day procedure. Fantastic hospital, with very caring staff. The surgery entrance is separate from the main hospital and there is a paid parking right opposite the entrance. When you check in a through screening is done for the patient and the 1 person accompanying them. You will be issued a sticker that will allow you to come in and out as many times as you want while waiting for your patient. They keep time, the check in process is smooth and everyone was courteous. There is a bathroom within the family waiting room. The best part of it all, was that there was a screen with the patients initials that shows what is happening throughout. From the surgery commencing and when it’s over, as well as when your patient is ready to go home. It eases the anxiety. There are not many food options here, so either bring your own snack or take a stroll round the block to the Starbucks. My mom was handled with care, she was left feeling confident in her medical team. Thank you Mount Sinai doctors for a successful surgery and excellent after care!

The staff pictured did nothing but sit on her phone in the waiting room the whole time. She jacked the heat to 80 maling it un healthy and uncomfortable for everyone. Meaner than a junk yard dog. AND taking a seat from those waiting on a patient. Maybe she should find a real job or do hers properly. Upon entry the staff "kindly" told you they don't drive so cant give you any info on the TWO parking garages adjacent to the center.....lesson one, learn about your surroundings as you will be quizzed especially by people who don't live in the city but need to park. Lol masks are required but 2 others who were actually working weren't wearing any. God, I love this town !!
