I’ve been coming here for vision care for many, many years, pretty much since they first opened. One thing that’s never changed is how friendly the staff is. Even with new faces over time, that welcoming atmosphere has stayed consistent. The office feels up to date with modern technology, and the doctors seem current on the latest practices and knowledge. They take their time, explain everything clearly, and make sure all your questions are answered, which I really appreciate. Overall, I genuinely enjoy coming here because it’s straightforward and reliable, just good, solid vision care. The only downside, and I can’t really compare it to other places, is the strong push to purchase glasses directly through them instead of online. That part can be a bit frustrating for me, since I go through a couple pairs a year and it’s just not always affordable. That said, when I do get a pair covered through my insurance, they take great care of me. The selection is huge, and they do an excellent job walking you through all the options. Aside from the pressure to buy glasses in house, I really can’t say anything negative.

I choose to commute round-trip 55 miles to continue to see Dr. Mithoff of Mithoff Vision Center for her expertise, compassion, and exemplary business ethics. Having grown up seeing her father, Dr. Thomas Mithoff, I continued to patronize the family practice when she took over. The office offers stylish frames across various price ranges. Although I encountered an unusual lab issue with my lenses after 40 years of using this optical office, Dr. Mithoff reexamined me to ensure the accuracy of my prescription and even offered a frame swap for a better fit. I would highly recommend Dr. Mithoff for all optical needs.

I have been coming here for over 20 years. The staff is extremely helpful , efficient and professional. Dr. Mithoff is wonderful and very personal, she takes her time to explain everything to you and never seems rushed or in a hurry. I actually enjoy my time at this office, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new eye doctor.

My entire family are patients here. We all absolutely love the office. I have seen all 3 doctors and they are all fantastic. I have to have some extra tests done every year to watch my retina. They are very thorough and take their time explaining everything. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this office!!
