Hanna was absolutely amazing helping me pick out my glasses! I changed my mind at least 50 times, and she was patient, kind, and helpful through the entire process. She never made me feel rushed or pressured and took the time to help me find the perfect pair. Her customer service was outstanding, and she made what could have been a stressful decision actually enjoyable. Thank you, Hanna, for going above and beyond. I truly appreciate your help!🤓😎🫶🏻

To start, I have anxiety about going to eye exams in general because I have a hard time finding frames that fit my face. I have a wider face with very little nose bridge support (similar to many Asian face shapes), so most standard frames don’t sit properly. This was my first time at this location. The girl who originally helped me was very sweet and helpful, and I really liked the doctor as well. The wait wasn’t long, and the exam itself was quick and efficient. My issue came at the end when I was looking for frames. I already knew it might be difficult to find something that fit properly. In the past, I’ve had frames done at the University of Michigan where they heat-molded the plastic frames to better fit my face and nose bridge. I didn’t realize that not every optical place offers this. When I asked about it here, the girl at checkout was very rude and her tone was off-putting. She kept shutting me down and made it seem like no place ever does that. I completely understand if this location doesn’t offer that service—I was perfectly fine with getting my exam here and looking elsewhere for frames. It was more about how the conversation was handled. She kept saying it would mess up the integrity of the frames. I understand that concern, but my previous glasses were heat-molded and lasted a long time because I take good care of them. Unfortunately, because of that interaction, I won’t be returning. I did call U of M Kellogg Optical afterward, and they confirmed they still heat-mold frames. For anyone who has similar fitting issues, that may be a good place to check.
Mason was amazing! She was super helpful picking out glasses and getting me taken care of after the insurance screwed me over. She helped turn around a really bad day. I highly recommend this location. The staff is always super nice and helpful.
I’ve always had a good experience—everyone is friendly and helpful. However, I wouldn’t recommend their membership deal for “3 free years of contact eye exams and 10% off purchases.” Twice now, I’ve been told my membership had just expired a couple of months earlier, even though I go in yearly when I have the extra money from my tax return. Both times, they said it had “just expired” and that I’d need to sign up again to get the same deal. I only buy a one-year supply, and this time I even still had a box left. Unfortunately, I don’t keep my receipts, so I can’t prove it—but I know it hasn’t been three years, and I remember feeling the same way last time. If you do sign up, make sure to save your receipts!!!
I went on a weekend, lots of parking options. But unfortunately very rushed, and even though there were more than 6 workers on the weekend no one actually talked to me. Eye doctor gave me wrong prescription, and didn’t go over the tests I paid extra for. Hoping my eyes won’t suffer too much with these contacts being wrong!
