I didn't want to go to svs again to get glasses, been avoiding for 4yrs. Finally I decided to go to different location as I didn't care for the optican at my visit over 3 yrs ago. I first was ok with this store until when I went to pickup my glasses. The woman whom sold me the glasses totally ghosted me, I mean no acknowledgement, no eye contact, Zero. And this place isn't so big you can't see who's is in the store. I spent over $400 for glasses and I can't get a hello or smile? She was all friendly when selling the glasses, I mean if svs wasn't built in sales, you can't make money selling anything without CS. I felted used by phony interaction. And so I'll make sure not to never buy from SVS again. They didn't offer a cleaning kit for glasses as b4, maybe svs doesn't have that policy no longer. Their people wouldn't make$ with that level of CS if they were commission based pay. Overall SVS is a money grab business, use you and spit you out, and people keep going back for the same B. S. I'm done with them this time for good.

I have gone over Two years without glasses because my I'm insurance will only cover one pair a year and SVS keeps screwing them up so bad that I can see better without them. I even went to a specialist to get the prescription but they screwed them up so bad that if I tilt my head up or down I see double. Before I left the specialist office the final lenses I looked through I could see really good. I went to where they made the lenses in Mount Clemens. They were leaving for lunch so I was able to get my foot in the door. As I was telling them about seeing double when I tilt my head up or down and that I believed it was the lenses the people who worked the there were agreeing with me. They referred me back to the office where I ordered them. That office who keeps blaming the specialist and not dealing with the real cause are the worst people I've ever dealt with. I won't be able to renew my driver's license because I can't afford to pay another place to make my glasses and my insurance won't pay for another pair of glasses. They used to make good glasses but that last few years they can't seem to do anything right. When I had SVS do my prescription or went to a specialist they screwed up my glasses.
I had a very unprofessional experience at this location today. The receptionist was dismissive and rolled her eyes while I was explaining a simple safety glasses order. Another employee took over but was also unhelpful. There were multiple employees present and no one stepped in to handle the situation properly, which made the experience worse. I had valid paperwork and a prescription that was going to be sent over, which is standard at most places. What really concerned me is that my paperwork was copied, but I was told there was no guarantee it would even be kept. That is not acceptable. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I would not recommend this location based on how I was treated.
Front desk was warm and welcoming my issue was the person that took me back before I saw the doctor was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude. I believe she was angry because I had my 6 month old with me at my appointment who mind you didn’t make a peep the entire time. She asked me to move the chair that was in the room but I didn’t know what she was referring to at first so thought it was the stroller in the way and snapped at me “not your kid, THAT chair” which I thought would make sense for her to move it maybe before I got into the room and thought it was strange she wanted me to be the one moving it in the first place? Doctor was great and the gentleman that helped me after was very sweet and kind to me and my child. Without that experience with her I would be forsure leaving 5 stars!
Terrible customer service. Ordered glasses 2 months ago. They never actually ordered them. Called several times and they said they were figuring things out and would call back. Never called back. Now they are saying I owe a balance (im aware and was told to pay upon arrival of glasses) and they cannot order them until thats paid and I might get my glasses in 10-14 days. Do not go here
