Very positive experience. The eye exam started right on time and Dr. Meers was efficient yet thorough. Front staff did a great job helping me with a records request and explaining the breakdown of costs for new glasses and lenses.
I have been going to Tacoma Eye for over 3 years! Dr. Meers and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Meers does a special examination on my eyes yearly and I recommend him highly to anyone looking for a good eye doctor. Patricia Reinhart I just went in again this week and as always from the ladies in the front, the lady that did part of my exam to Dr. Meers I would give the same review above!
Friendly staff. Tried making appointments with a couple other eye doctors before this one and it was all just automated with no connection whatsoever. Nice to speak to a human being with great customer service. Call me old fashioned.
It’s always a pleasure to visit Dr. Meers and his team at Tacoma Eye! They are professional, friendly, and use the most cutting edge technologies to make sure my eyes are healthy. I have an artificial eye on one side, so it’s especially important to take care of the one good eye I have. Dr. Meers spends extra time and attention on my eye and even inspects my implant, to make sure there’s not a problem. (He didn’t do the implant, so technically not his responsibility) A++ from me. Can’t recommend Tacoma Eye at Westgate enough!
• Shavon did my intake, retinal photos, and eye pressure testing. She was great. • Dr. Meers performed my exam. He was great. • Olivia helped me select eyeglasses frames. She was great. • The gentleman working the front desk was also great. Everyone was very helpful, nice, and seemed knowledgeable. Then negative: The glasses options were quite expensive. I expect a markup when purchasing from within an eye doctor’s office, but this mark up seemed higher than what I saw at my previous eye doctor. Other than the pricing, everything else was BETTER here than at the last eye doctor I went to. Tacoma eye felt much cleaner, more professional, and overall better.
