I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ngo after I was told that the business takes my insurance. I kindly asked what was covered and they said I would first need to complete the eye exam and then they would be able to furnish me with the cost but to rest assured that I was covered. After paying 64 dollars for the exam, which went very well, I proceeded to the register to purchase my frames. They gave me a grand total of 340 dollars to build my new glasses on top of the 64 I spent for exam. Typically I get 2 sets for 150 out the door, so this price shocked me. I asked why the price was so high being as how I have insurance and they accepted it. The lady at the front desk told me only the exam was covered, but for the frames I was out of network. I was very displeased with the service. They deliberately told me what wanted to hear to make a sale even though I asked the right questions. This makes them liars. I took my script down the street and got the exact same glasses they were selling for 120 out the door. Don't go here unless you want to deal with dishonest sales associates.

He took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure every detail was just right, and truly went above and beyond to help. My daughter and I are so grateful. Dr. Tri Ngo was super nice, it was my daughter’s first time getting contacts, and he was incredibly patient and reassuring throughout the process. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only knowledgeable and professional but also so warm and caring. Brandon’s dedication did not go unnoticed, and I would highly recommend asking for him!

This was my first experience with Target Optical. Booking the appointment was easily made online and I received text and email confirmations right away. Check in was quick, and I did not have to wait long to see Dr. Ngo. He explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. Overall a great experience.

Georgette was great! The lens on my RayBans had completely fallen out and I couldn’t find a replacement when I was on vacation. Finally had time to make it to Target and she replaced the screw, no questions asked. She even tightened my regular glasses. 1000% returning to the Whittier location in the future!
