The staff at Tempe Eyecare Associates are all wonderful and helpful. A routine eye exam is handled pretty efficiently taking about 30 - 40 minutes from time of arrival (including waiting time) without skimping on quality. I particularly appreciate being able to get retina photos instead of eye dilation which has numerous benefits including zero discomfort and historical tracking of changes in the eye via photos. In fact, the entire visit is non-invasive. Dr. Watkins is very personable and takes time to explain everything in thorough detail. The facility is clean, well organized, and welcoming. Overall, this establishment is easily a 10/10 and highly recommended.

This is my third set of glasses from Tempe Eyecare. Every time I’ve had a wonderful experience. Dr. Blaine Watkins is professional and very good at explaining things. The staff is top notch.

Dr. Paul is awesome! I apologize I cant remember the gals name that did the testing, but she is great also! The optician however was aweful. After my appt walked to the area and waited while they took 2 people that came in AFTER I was already there. She was not pleasant, asked if I had an appt, told her no, I just finished my exam. Sprang a $600 bill for lenses only on me. I asked a question on something she told me, she acted like I should already know what she was telling me. I was already upset they took 2 people before me, so I was already an unhappy camper. Then the waiver I had to sign, stated if the LAB breaks my frame, I am responsible, sheesh, nobody takes responsibility for damage. She said if the do get broken, they will offer 20% off. Big Whoop, didnt make me feel much better!

I have been going to Tempe Eyecare for over 40 years and have always had professional checkups and the staff is like family. Dr Watkins is very friendly and attentive as well as April the tech who prepped me for the exam. This firm has stood the test of time and I highly recommend them for you eyecare needs.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Watkins and the entire staff. From the moment we walk in, everyone is kind, patient, and truly attentive. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which gives us a lot of confidence in the care being provided. Most importantly, thanks to their expertise and dedication, my husband has been able to retain his eyesight—something we are incredibly grateful for. That alone speaks volumes about the quality of care and commitment to their patients.
