Great location. Very modern aesthetic and welcoming office and patient space. Dr. Goering is amazing. He takes his time to understand each patient. He’s very lax and easy to talk with. Along with his expertise, he offers understanding and education to patients. Overall the experience for me and my son was great. Only slightly frustrating experience was working with the tech while picking out frames and lenses. She seemed to be put out or annoyed with the time taken to pick out what we would be wearing on our faces full time. Not necessarily disgruntled but short with her words with slight annoyance in her tone. For me, spending over $500 on one pair of frames alone, I will ensure that I get something that I appreciate and like. I am also new to the bifocal prescriptions but the look and snarky explanation from the tech for what kind of frame size I should not get made me feel like I should have already known that or I was a student in class that was not listening….. Overall, frames were picked out, services paid for and we left happy. We will be returning patients but I will for sure keep in mind what size of frames do not work well with bifocals. As she said, “Guess your gonna have to get past what kind of frames you like or think looks good on you.”

I also purchased my glasses through VIEW Temple, and the staff made the process incredibly easy by carefully explaining my options and helping me choose the right lenses and frames. At no point did I feel rushed; they genuinely cared about helping me find the best solution for my vision needs. What impressed me most was the atmosphere. It is rare to find a medical office where every team member is so friendly, welcoming, and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. You can tell they take pride in what they do and truly care about their patients. My kids were seen and this was the BEST vision appointment I have ever had. The staff was friendly and helpful, explaining every process to the kids and myself. The Optometrist was friendly and explained everything he was doing and why glasses were needed. My kids had a great time and the appointment was quick and efficient. Recommend this place over all others, worth the trip if you live anywhere near Temple.

These folks deserve all the five star reviews. I'd never had an exam like this, where Dr. Goering took the time to really go through things. He pulled up additional materials based on what my questions were and walked through it with me. Just a kind fella that seems to really enjoy both the care and nerdy aspects of his job. That's the kind of doc you want, trust me. Major kudos to the front desk staff and intake nurse who all had to tolerate my dad jokes. Nobody pushed anything, nobody made me feel like a bother or unwelcome. Take the time to do the online check-in they send you, it's easy, takes maybe 15 minutes. Just a straightforward history. I had zero check in when I got there other than name/time confirmation. They're not making you do the same paperwork twice, another bonus. I'll.... see y'all next time!

The office features state-of-the-art technology that made the eye exam thorough, efficient, and comfortable. The optometrist was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. It’s refreshing to find a practice that combines advanced technology with such a personal, caring approach. If you’re looking for an eye care provider with an experienced doctor, professional staff, and the latest equipment, I highly recommend View Temple.
