My experience is what I expected. Dr Steer is the best optometrist I have ever met. I am nurse and know when I have a great physician on my list. Thank you Dr. Steer. I picked up my glasses today and as usual, I can see perfectly. I will see you next year!!!
My experience today at Steer Optical was wonderful. Throughout the entire process, all the staff were friendly, helpful and quite accommodating. The eye doctor was very knowledge, efficient and provided excellent helpful feedback about my eyes and general well being. A great experience all around.
Right when I entered the office, I was warmly greeted by Ella, the receptionist. Then, the young man was ready to do the preliminary testing and put me at ease, very competently guiding me through the testing machines. The optometrist, Dr Esther Cohen, called me right away, for the rest of the tests and consultation. Dr Cohen was very warm and was very professional and could handle all of my issues and concerns with ease. This is a great place for eye care!
I was a bit late because of broken traffic lights, but they were very gracious and got me into the doctor within five minutes. Loved Dr. Ekram Ali! She patiently listened to my concerns and explained the picture results.
I scheduled an appointment online for today. I called to confirm cost and insurance. I mentioned that there were earlier appointments available at 10 and thought to see if I could come in earlier. The representative mentioned yes I could at any time. She failed to mention when there was a lunch break. I arrive ahead of my scheduled time and look all around the mall for the location. Once I arrive, I’m told that the doctor is going on lunch and does not have availability. I took my lunch time and spent money on an uber to get this taken care of. If the information was properly given, I would probably not even be leaving this review. My glasses are broken and I needed to be seen today. This sucks. There was no remorse. They offered a different time or for me to wait, but I was very clear that I had a small window as I already asked how long it would take. Terrible customer service towards a busy professional. I better not be charged for cancelling an appointment to their face and over the phone.
