I would not recommend this eye center based on my experience. Before my appointment, I was told they were in network with my insurance, after asking twice. I proceeded with the appointment and made another to have surgery in August. I had already made accommodations for the day of the scheduled surgery. Later, I was shocked to receive a bill for over $1,000 because they claimed my insurance wasn't accepted after all. Mind you, at the appointment, I paid a copay of 50 dollars. I relied on the information their office provided when scheduling, and if I had been told the truth, I would have gone somewhere else. I contacted their billing department to explain the situation, but they refused to take responsibility or compromise with me on the bill, despite their mistake of not properly verifying my insurance. They made it seem like it was my fault, even though I took the appropriate steps to make sure they were in network. They had poor communication, misleading insurance verification, and terrible customer service. Very frustrating that I now have to restart the entire process with another doctor.
