Longish story. About six months ago I took my mom to get her nails done. The lady sitting beside us saw that her glasses were broken on one side. She told us she worked at Waxhaw eye care and said we should go by and they would fix her right up. So we went by there and they indeed took care of her quickly and kindly. I decided that my family should change eye doctors as well. So we had our first appointments and got taken care of. Today I went in to bring my other frames in to upgrade my prescription. A very personable and lovely lady took care of me named Renee. We had a great chat and laughed, it was a pleasurable experience. Then when I got to my car I realized that Renee was from the nail salon who suggested we go there in the first place. I was on the road before my slow brain made the connection. ANYWAY, shout out to Renee who not only is a good promoter of her place of business, but also great at her job. Thanks Renee, for making a generally mundane task, a lot more fun!

I visited Waxhaw Vision this past Friday and noticed a new person at the front desk. She was pleasant and easy to work with, which made a big difference compared to my previous experiences, where communication had sometimes been a challenge. The vision exam itself went smoothly, and my eye doctor took great care of me. I also purchased a pair of glasses, and the staff was very helpful in working with my insurance.
