Great doctor and staff - both friendly and highly professional. The office is calm, clean, and well-organized, without the crowds of patients and staff you often find at larger chain practices. The doctor has an excellent bedside manner and made us feel very comfortable. I brought my 5 yo children and the dr was wonderful with them. Highly recommended for all ages.

My first time seeing Dr. Tom and he and his staff were all so nice and accommodating! I was seen on time, and didn’t have to wait to be fit for my glasses. Dr. Tom explained everything so clearly. It was a great new patient experience and I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an eye doctor who cares, has a clean and friendly office vibe and likes to be seen on time. Also! Great glasses selection. :)
I had my first eye exam at Brinton Family Eye Care and the doctor was great, but the front desk experience was very disappointing. After getting my prescription, I bought glasses at Target (also an Aetna preferred provider). When I went back because I still couldn't see clearly, the front desk she told me well I should've brought my lenses and frames there now. I should go back to target and I should go get progressive and l'll be able to see l did that kept him on for two weeks. I still couldn't see. I went back to her and she tried to charge me $49 just to recheck my prescription because I didn't buy frames and lenses there. My insurance even called and spoke with her, and she still refused. I don't believe the doctor realizes this, but I had already referred my fiancé and my mom, and they've now lost three patients over $49 because of how this was handled at the front desk and all three of us will not go back because of her To : Brinton Family Eye Care, LLC (... Thank you for your response. I understand that glasses purchased elsewhere may limit what adjustments can be made to the lenses themselves. However, that was not the issue in my situation. I have never worn glasses before and my prescription only required 2.25 readers in the bottom portion of the lenses. The top portion has no prescription. I simply needed the prescription rechecked or slightly adjusted because I still could not see clearly after wearing them for two weeks. Since Brinton Family Eye Care is listed as an Aetna preferred provider, I contacted Aetna directly. They informed me that situations like this are typically handled as part of patient care and that charging a $49 fee simply to verify the prescription—especially after a first exam where the patient is still unable to see properly—is not consistent with what they expect from their preferred providers. They indicated they will be reviewing this situation through their quality control process. This was disappointing because the doctor himself was excellent. I genuinely expected the office to say, “Come in and we’ll take a look and help you figure it out.” Instead, the experience at the front desk left me feeling dismissed. For context, the glasses are Ray-Ban frames with Ray-Ban lenses, and the reason I purchased them elsewhere was simply because the frames available in your office were priced over $300. If pricing were more accessible, I would have been happy to purchase directly through your office. Unfortunately, because of how this was handled, my fiancé, my mother, and I will not be returning. I definitely would’ve called my Patient and had a conversation with him and by them not doing that that says a lot I’m not hiding my name at all. I wish the doctor the best and hope this feedback helps improve future patient experiences.
Highly recommend Dr. Y and staff at Brinton Family Eye Care. The appointment was easy to schedule and I was able to be scheduled as a new patient within a week along with my family. Also, loved that we were seen at our appointment times. The atmosphere is great and everyone was welcoming from Summer at the front desk to Dr. Y. He is very knowledgeable and helped me understand things about my prescription and lenses that were never explained to me with other providers. The office does share space with other businesses so parking can be a hassle depending on your appointment time. After visiting several eye doctor offices, I can honestly say that in my opinion, they’re affordable. With our insurance, my husband’s visit totaled $190. That included the exam, lenses and frames! I was able to get 2 pair of glasses with lenses, my exam, plus the photos for $498 with my insurance. If you’re in the area and looking for an amazing staff and office, Brinton is the office to visit.
I visited the office for a medical problem. From my first interaction on the phone to schedule my appointment to the end of my visit- the team was professional and personable. Dr Y listened to my concerns, was very thorough with the exam, explained everything prior to doing it. He explained what the problem was, what to expect going forward and what symptoms to contact the office for immediately
