Overall, the staff was friendly and the exam itself went well. However, my experience could have been handled with better communication. Before the doctor came in, I was told that, after reviewing my images, my visit would need to be filed through medical insurance and that I needed to provide my information. When I asked why, I was only told that the doctor would explain. While I understand the doctor is the one who should discuss the findings, being told something had changed without any context left me sitting there feeling stressed and worried while I waited. A little reassurance or having the doctor speak with me before discussing the insurance change would have made the experience much less stressful.

I was able to make my appointment the same day! check in was a breeze - links sent to my phone filled out info and signed. The staff is extremely friendly. Dr. Miller was very nice and makes you feel comfortable. I was in and out of my appointment in like 40 min or less. And it’s convenient to have LensCrafters next door- so i was able to get my glasses! Highly recommend and will be back next year.

The staff was very friendly and worked hard to make my visit as pleasant as possible. When it was time to check out I was informed completely about what insurance covered and what I would need to pay. The staff worked hard with my insurance company to get what I needed. The Dr was willing to go the extra mile to ensure I got exactly the best fit for my contacts. A great team!!!

Dr. Downing was wonderful. She was kind, professional, and explained every part of my eye exam clearly and thoroughly. I appreciated how she took the time to make sure I understood everything and felt comfortable during my appointment.

I recently had an eye exam with Dr. Erin Downing at The Eye Center, next to LensCrafters, Fayetteville. I was long overdue with having my eyes checked and had some concerns about my vision. Dr. Downing went through my exam results thoroughly and addressed each issue. Thankfully, there was nothing to worry about. She didn't rush me through the process of finding my new prescriptions for lenses. She was very reassuring that things were fine. The front office staff were all very nice as well. Everyone seemed so happy to be there. Overall from start to finish it was a very good experience.
