The Eye Center of Central PA

I cannot recommend The Eye Center highly enough. When I needed emergency surgery to save my sight, Dr. Ou acted with incredible dedication, staying after his shift to ensure I was taken care of. He is not only a talented surgeon but also a compassionate communicator who puts his patients at ease. The entire office staff is professional, welcoming, and efficient. I am so grateful for the excellent care and the wonderful outcome.

This review is based on two areas of this business, specifically Dr. Fritz with The Eye Center, and Denise with the optical department. Dr. Fritz has been my optician for several years. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and takes the time to explain what she is doing, and how that affects my prescription changes. Denise, is so beneficial to this business, assisting patients/customers with a friendly face, and 35 years of knowledge, that is greatly appreciated. I always find that I’m looking for new glasses after my eyes have been dilated, and needless to say, my eyesight is pretty bad anyway, she assists me with picking out frames, that on the day I pick them up, I absolutely LOVE, and get numerous compliments. If you’re looking for an eye doctor, or new glasses, definitely call The Eye Center in Lewisburg. They’re fantastic!

Great experience at the eye clinic yesterday. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr Onishi was thorough and took time to explain everything clearly. I especially appreciated that he remembered I had mentioned a vacation over a month ago and ask me about it. It really made the visit feel personal. Highly recommend anyone looking for attentive quality eye care.

My previous Opthamoligist retired, and today was my first annual appointment with Dr. Ou. From reception to check out everyone was friendly and efficient. I encountered 4 members of the staff from beginning to the end, and of course, Dr. Ou as well. His exam was thorough and painless. He explained his findings and answered my questions, and I left with an appointment for next year. I would recommend this practice without hesitation.

Everyone I dealt with at the Eye Center was courteous and very helpful. Dr. Greg Jarrett worked on getting me the best Eye Rx and answered all of my questions concerning the thickness of the lens, etc. I then purchased my eye glasses and the lady that waited on me was very helpful. I needed high density lenses and she picked out the perfect frame that I was looking for. I don’t have eye insurance and she worked up a discount that was more than I expected, reducing my cost in half. My glasses are transitional and progressive with no lines. They are better than the ones I purchased 2years ago at Vision max, did not have transaction lenses and were over $300.00 cheaper.
