I would NOT recommend the Eye Gallery in Pier Park to ANYONE looking to get prescription glasses. I got my prescription done over a month ago, paid for glasses out of pocket and haven’t been able to wear them a single day without getting the worst migraines. I’ve called 3 times to try and speak to the manager on what can be done to get them fixed, each time getting the run around. I even was told to take them to Walmart on Front Beach and they could “fix them” I ended up taking them to Americans Best to check the prescription and was told they were cut wrong and would need to be recut. ( my PD was wrong so my left eye was being pulled in cause headaches and me not to be able to wear them.) I drove back out to the beach to talk to the manager / optometrist and couldn’t even get a word in because every time I opened my mouth I was cut off. Then called a liar along with American Best and there’s “nothing wrong” with them. After I was cut off, called sweetie/ sweetheart 7 times and told I would have to wait another two weeks I asked for my glasses back and said I would pay out of pocket to go somewhere else. I’ve had glasses for 3 years, have terrible astigmatism and can’t even read my computer at work. So here’s my warning to everyone don’t use your insurance eye exam AND PAY FOR YOUR GLASSES OUT OF POCKET because you’ll be SOL and spending more money than need to be.

Warm and hospital atmosphere. Very clean and organized displays. Our cashier, Lucia, was very friendly and helped us find exactly what was perfect for us (style, price range, etc.). She was very informative and we were able to get just the right glasses with the right lens for what we wanted. She was also very helpful and patient.
Don’t go anywhere else these girls are amazing. I broke a lens out of my Ray Bans and had been to 2 other places one who was just going to order lens and hope they would fit. They took their time and had these very unique lens in stock at a very fair price. I had bent the arms of my shades and they even got them back to brand new.
Horrible! Made a 3:45 PM appointment showed up early. They made me fill out a form and I waited 30 minutes and then they ended up telling me that there was gonna be another 30 minute delay. There’s only one woman working in the front and she was sitting down most of the time while people were coming in and she didn’t even greet them. I’ve never had such bad service in my life!
If a negative rating were possible, I would choose it. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve had. I was scheduled for an appointment, drove 45 minutes, and was told no doctor was available. I was asked to return the following weekend, only to receive a voicemail 30 minutes before my appointment saying the virtual doctor had called in sick. Two weekends wasted due to poor scheduling and lack of communication. Completely unacceptable.
