The Eyewear Depot

I can't say enough good things about the Eyewear Depot! Four days before leaving for a big trip, I learned that the glasses I had ordered elsewhere would not be ready in time. Another shop suggested the Eyewear Depot, so I went there and explained the situation. I needed lenses that are both progressive and transitional, which added to the challenge. But on Tuesday, Richard agreed that he could get them to me by Friday, the day before we were to leave. Then he called me two or three times over the next few days to update me on the progress. And then -- they arrived on Thursday! Super-quick turnaround, with outstanding communication throughout. The biggest problem: deciding which frames to choose because they have SO MANY WONDERFUL ONES! And the prices are amazing. I ended up getting two pairs because I loved them so much. Richard's son, Brandon, was a huge help in helping me pick the frames and working through my little crisis. (I love that it's a father and son business, too.) Highly recommended!

Eyewear Depot is hands down the best place to go for glasses. Brandon, the owner, is exceptional—knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely focused on helping you find the right pair. He takes the time to walk you through options without any pressure and makes the whole process easy and enjoyable. The selection is great, pricing is fair, and the level of customer service is hard to find these days. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the market for new eyewear.

If you want excellent service, a vast selection of frames, opticians who really spend time making sure your glasses are well adjusted to your face, and reasonable prices, then this is the place for you! My husband and I finally decided it was time to get new glasses—we’ve both been putting it off for way too long. We originally stopped at Visionworks in Willow Grove since I remembered buying from them years ago, but wow… what a letdown. Their prices were outrageous—over $200 just for basic frames, and simple lenses were another $150+! With their "special," it was going to cost one of us nearly $300, and there was no way we could swing $600 for the both of us. On top of that, the staff was cold and unwelcoming. It just didn’t feel right. Thankfully, we noticed The Eyeglass Depot right across the street and decided to check it out—and we are SO glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the gentleman there greeted us warmly and made us feel like valued customers. Not only was the customer service top notch, but they saved us over $500 compared to Visionworks! Seriously. They also had a great selection of frames, and we were pleasantly surprised to hear our glasses would be ready in just five days (unlike the two-week wait across the street). We’re beyond happy we found this place. We’ll definitely be coming back in the future and recommending them to everyone we know! 😁
