I previously gave a negative response about FocalPoint at Crosstown Concourse a few weeks ago. It was based information that I received, I was wrong. I went back on June 24th, 2026 and after talking with one of the representatives at the desk, I felt confident again. My visit this time around was pleasant. They were knowledgeable about the product and the timeframe it would be completed. A very satisfied customer. 😊

My overall experience was positive. The office is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, and the customer service was excellent. The receptionist was very kind and pleasant, although speaking a little louder would make communication easier. I want to recognize the optometrist, who was outstanding. They were patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made the visit comfortable throughout the entire exam. That level of care and professionalism made a lasting impression. One area that I hope management will seriously consider improving is the selection and placement of frames for Medicaid patients. Since this location accepts Medicaid, there should be a wider variety of attractive frames that are covered. Currently, the Medicaid frame selection is very limited, and those frames are displayed separately in the lobby rather than alongside the other stylish frames. When Medicaid patients see the larger selection of beautiful frames that they cannot choose from, while their covered options are set apart, it can create a feeling of exclusion and separation based on income. Although this may not be the intention, the presentation can make Medicaid patients feel less valued than other customers. I encourage management to expand the Medicaid frame selection and display those frames alongside the rest of the inventory instead of separating them. Every patient deserves the same welcoming experience, regardless of how their eyewear is being paid for. Small changes like these would create a more inclusive environment where all patients feel respected, valued, and treated with dignity.

Wonderful doctors and student doctors. However, the front desk staff or operator (whoever is in charge of the phone) does not answer calls or provide information in a timely manner. I’ve been a patient here for 3+ years and that has been consistent. It makes it hard to get questions answered, get an appointment scheduled, or follow up on prescriptions.

I was concerned visiting a place where I had to have an appointment to look at glasses. It was a total misconception. The gentleman who helped me was patient, professional and put me at ease. I really don’t know the theory why you can’t freely visit the facility and view frames at liberty but my experience was pleasant and I did purchase 2 pairs. Great selection

5 stars simply aren't enough! My 1st time experience exceeded my expectations. I've worn eyeglasses for over 10 years now & that was my 1st thorough exam. Everyone was polite, professional, & very informative from the time I walked in til the time I left. My glasses were ready within a week with NO issues!! Thank you so much for an awesome experience
