My son and I were in the UP for some Spring Break skiing and snowboarding, and I ran I to a contacts issue. Lyn came to the rescue. Her responsiveness and flexibility working with me saved the day and our trip! If in the Houghton area, the Vision Clinic is the place to go
I highly recommend Dr. DuMonthier for the exam and perscription...but when choosing glasses I can't say enough about Michelle, a true gem! Her exceptional professional skill, attention to detail, and genuine caring was very deeply appreciated!
While it is easy to be happy when my check-up went well. Objectively, the service was great, starting with the staff who manage appointments and continuing through the person who takes the eye photos and the O.D. (Dr. DuMonthier in my case). I especially appreciate that they didn't encourage me to pursue prescriptions at this time despite the minimal degradation in up close and far away vision. I was encouraged to just keep checking in and wait until the degradation is significant enough to warrant a prescription.
Dr. Charney is great! The folks in the office are all friendly and professional. Lynn made getting my glasses fun and was just a Rock-star. They just take good care of their patients! Great place to go to for your eye-health needs.
What a brilliant place. I had an Oakley fish wire frame that had become unattached from the upper frame, and the lens fell out. Left it with them, and within two hours, had a call to say job done. Fantastic job, and all-round nice bunch of people. Will get an eye exam there, when they have a slot, which is about five months out. Thank you for all your help. 5*
