My experience at Clarkson is always wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They are always willing to explain every detail and break down insurance coverage with so much patience. They even help you determine the best scenario for your needs. They are also fantastic at helping you pick out the perfect frames for your face and I always trust them. Choosing glasses at other places used to make me feel self conscious but they always do a good job making it a comfortable and positive experience. Highly recommend!

I went in for an eye exam and contact fitting. I advised the clerks that I was leaving the country in a month. The exam completed and then the clerk told me it would be 6 weeks before the trial pair came in. I told him I would be out of the country by then. He told me he had no control over that. I told him I had a hard time understanding why it would take so long. He told me that the contact lens had to be custom made. He had a sarcastic tone throughout his responses. I have had the same eyes for years, I know that optical companies rarely have lens in stock with my Rx, but I NEVER had to wait six weeks for a trial pair. This is after I had already told them I was leaving the country. So the bottom- line is they got some $400 (between insurance and my coinsurance) for nothing. The optician did not write an Rx for contacts yet. When I got home I looked for the brand of the current contacts I had and called the branch to advise them and to see if the optometrist could write an Rx for them instead. I got the same guy. He told me that he would let the optometrist know. That was two days ago and I haven’t heard a thing. It looks like I will have to get another exam somewhere else. I do not recommend Clarkson Eyecare to anyone.
Today I had a great visit to Clarkson eyewear. I had a great exam and bought two pair of glasses from Ms. Valerie Morris. Everyone at the Kenwood store is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and personable. Ananda has always been kind to me and I’ve been coming to this store for almost 10 years.
I walked in Clarkson Eyecare in Kenwood and was greeted with a smile and kindness. Dr. Matthew Muroski was thorough and explained in detail my questions. I am so happy I chose this location. And Greg was amazing with his assistance in helping me my frames and hus knowledge my insurance benefits!😊
I have been going to Clarkson for over 10 years. It’s clean, the people are courteous, they use to have an exceptional selection of high end eyewear, not so much now. But I do trust them for my vision testing. I did find a cute pair of Gwen Stefani L.A.M.B eyewear this time.
