I recently moved to YC and had previously taken my 8 yrs old son to another optometrist here, with a not so great experience. That experience felt rushed and felt they were annoyed with my son. Total different experience here, Dr. Sanders was amazing! He was patient and very thorough and it was obvious him and his staff could fully handle children patients. The entire staff was great and extremely kind.. I love it here and have found our new optometrist!

I took my mother for her 9am appointment, and even tho we were 20 min late they graciously accepted us. We got a little lost at the complex, looking for the right office, but we apologized for being late. Everyone was kind and courteous. Dr Sanders was thorough and considerate, since my mother is hard of hearing. He helped her to save by using her old frames and we dispensed with the antiglare coating. We were very pleased and recommend his office

Not a great customer service. Understand, that due to covid19 only patient is allowed no one else with patient, but there are ways to say things with nice manners...sorry to say but need huge improvement in customer service at reception. Try nicely, usely works like magic. I just refer this place to 4 of our close family members.

Girls up front are really rude, practice is aging/dirty, and the machines are outdated. This office also has NO availabilities and isn't accepting new patients!! Do yourself a favor and go to Distinctive Eyes on 1641 Colusa. They accept my insurance and were so unbelievably kind. They are the EXACT opposite of this disgusting practice.

Scheduled an appointment over 2 weeks ago. Arrived 15 minutes early for appointment after taking time off work. Upon my arrival, the reception desk girl told me I did not have an appointment and they never heard of me. I double checked my appointment time on my calendar and the date and time were exactly as I had written while I was speaking on the phone making the appointment. She told me to have a seat and they would try to "squeeze me in" (I had an appointment) After a few minutes the same girl came out to me and told me they would not be seeing me. She also asked if I wanted to just reschedule. I said that I did not, as I couldn't be assured that they would recognize that appointment either. I told her I would rather not do business with them and I will go elsewhere. The girl I was speaking to laughed and said "ok, bye"... Seriously? Is that your idea of customer service?
