Dr Mario Meriano very friendly and respectful. Made the visit comfortable and easy. Really appreciated the positive attitude!

The staff there are absolutely terrible. They didn't get my bifocal line correct and I had to argue with several people to get them reordered. My distance vision was also too high so I couldn't see out of my right eye at all. Dr Mariano told me I had to get used to the higher prescription so I tried and I did not get used to it. I reported the problem again by phone call and they said to come in. Dr Mariano originally lowered my stigmatism and I asked if that was the issue. Since he was out, his wife checked that but not the other distance prescription. She said I can't see out of my left eye because of my dry eye, not because of my prescription. I didn't accept that and I went to see Dr Spalding at Target and she said they had my prescription too high and gave me a new prescription. I can see clear out of my new prescription she gave me. She advised me to call Dr Mariano back and asked to have all 3 of my glasses remade with my new prescription. I left two messages and no one called me back. I called again today and spoke with the manager Humphrey, at least that's what she said her name was and explained my situation. She said because it is now over the 60-day mark they will not remake my glasses even though I bought insurance. I explained that I have reported the problem since picking them up and that is not fair that I am left with three pairs of glasses that I can't see out of my right eye. She did not care at all that I was out all that money and I am stuck with three pairs of glasses that I can't use. I will never go back to this office. Don't waste your money by going here, they don't care about you at all! I should have believed the reviews.

I love Dr. Mariano! I have insurance through my employer and although they weren't in network for my VSP, I was able to call VSP and get them approved. Dr. Mariano is support nice and explains everything I ask him to. I've been seeing him 7 years now and I won't go anywhere else. Side note...female Dr. Mariano isn't as nice or accommodating. When I asked to try a different contact she was convinced I wouldn't like them. I guess she forgot that, just like the rest of our bodies, eyeballs do change with age. I demanded trial contacts and I'm glad I did! I like them better than the ones I've been using!

I was interested in scheduling an appointment, but while doing so the employee (Ali) had started raising his voice after I’d answered his questions. Insisted I didn’t know anything about my own insurance and vision benefits. Needless to say, appointment wasn’t scheduled.

I like everyone at the 96th walmart vision center. The staff out front are helpful and friendly. I like the eye dr (Meriano?l too. The price is decent. I've now had lasik so hopefully, no offense, I won't see them as often now.
