Called me the day before my appointment twice in a row to cancel saying the doctor was out for a “personal” issue. I’ve now been waiting 3 months for an eye exam because their next available isn't for weeks out. If you’re cancelling the day before, you should be squeezing me in somewhere not making me wait for weeks. We also get our eye exam for $10 every year. My husband went last week and they did some kind of special exam that insurance doesnt cover and then slapped us with a $60 charge at the end of the appointment without ever disclosing that any portion of the exam was not covered. Such sketchy behavior. My insurance makes me go here otherwise I wouldn’t waste any more time with this place.
Visionworks at the Park Place Mall is our go to place for our eye exams, as well as our glasses and contacts. Everyone is courteous and helpful. The associate who greeted us was able to help my wife's issues, as well as mine. I highly recommend the Visionworks at Park Place.
Went in for glasses and contacts end of 2025 was told that my vision did not change from previous year I was super happy to hear no change. I can than just order contacts and pay with my insurance. I wear mono lenses (one near/one distance) I picked up my lenses and tucked them in drawer for 4 months since I had 2 sets of lenses from my past order. I finally had to open my lenses in March 2026 put them on my eyes and could not see anything. I called the Store located at Park Mall spoke with a manager named Gabrielle who explained they could not take the lenses back since I opened the box. I explained I had to open the bod in order to put them on my eyes to check the vision. She then said they have a 90 days policy-I get that I say but the RX is wrong the Doctor gave me a wrong RX. She said sorry but Hey you have your 2026 benefits just make a new appointment and we can re-do the whole visit -at your cost of course because we are not giving you anything back from 2025 visit which cost me over 400.00 with insurance. I decided to use another provider with a new company I brought in my contacts that were provided by Visonworks the FIRST thing the new provider told me is the previous provider gave me a MONO prescription with the distance lens not being on my dominant eye but he also added BIFOCALS to the lenses. my new Provider stated you NEVER do that you do not add bifocals to Mono rx. My new provider did and eye exam for contacts fitted me with trial pair and re-ordered the new contacts for an OOP cost to me of 50.00 35.00 for the eye exam and contact appt and 15.00 for the lenses. 15.00 for the lenses not 300.00. I had used Visionworks for over 10 years I sent a co-worker last year to them for her eye appt. she can not see out of her glasses. she went in for adjustment and still can not see out of them. She saw the same older gentleman that id her eye exam. I am sorry but your provider messes up the RX you need to fix that mistake. Gabrielle was rude and could give a crap about the issues. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GOOD LUCK IF YOU GET THIS OLDER PROVIDER
Excellent experience! January 22 I scheduled an eye exam on January 25 (only 3 days waiting period). I paid from pocket (no insurance) - $109. Usually they ask a co-pay $39. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses (single vision, plastic lenses). I paid just $289 for both of them. This site has an unbelievable frames' collection. I hate to ware glasses (except sunglasses), but I found really cute frames: Vera Bradley and South Hampton. Today, February 2 I have picked up both my glasses (Visionworks has provided even free cases for them). Let's calculate together: $109 + $289 = $398 for eye exam and 2 pairs of glasses. All the process has taken 9 days. Not tacking into account an amazing customer service and very nice looking clean and well sanitized place (they follow all CDC Covid-19 precautions and check a body temperature of every visitor). You can find better? I don't think so. Highly recommend.
