Dr Root and the staff were extremely knowledgeable, thorough and helpful. Took time to explain everything to me that was going on with my eyes, I have cataracts and also a type 1 diabetic. Explained the surgery process and plan of action. Also gave me cataract surgery handbook. I would highly recommend Tomoka Eye to anyone who needs eye care. Update as of 5/12 had my left eye cataract surgery. All went great, I am so so happy Dr Root is excellent and of course all the staff were great. Thank you. Again would definitely recommend them . I wish I could give 100 stars.

I have been a patient here for many years. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. The eye doctors are the best also. I was diagnosed with an eye melanoma two years ago and was sent immediately to the Mayo Clinic. The specialist there said my melanoma was caught early thanks to the great care I received at Tomoka Eye. If this was missed I probably would not be here writing this review.

Excellent doctors office! Every person that I had contact with during my appointment went out of their way to connect with me. I felt very well cared for and they each were kind and thoughtful! From the minute I walked in the reception area until I checked out. Excellent!! Dr. SCHULER is incredible!!! I drive an hour to go to this office because of the experience that I have each time I visit!

Kline and Root are professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely listen to your concerns. The staff is always polite, respectful, and professional creating a positive experience from start to finish. I am a nurse practitioner and appreciate this practice and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality eye care!

From my first visit at Tomoka to all succeeding , I have been treated with respect, kindness and professionalism. Every person I've met there has been extremely pleasant and wait times are minimal. I had cataract surgery on my right eye last week. Everything was explained verbally and in writing to perfection (thank you Amanda!). The surgery center was excellent, very accommodating and again the staff went over and beyond to make me comfortable (and thank you Kat!). Dr. Kennedy is top notch and lives up to his impeccable reputation. I would highly recommend Tomoka.
