Highly recommend Torrey Pines Eye Care for your vision needs! Dr. Zaveri is excellent. I saw him for cataract surgery based on a referral and couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. Dr. Zaveri was very thorough and understanding. His staff was excellent also. Old school patient care, rarely found in this day and age.

I recently had an eye exam at Torrey Pines Eye Care with Dr. Patricia Bainter who is a board certified opthamologist. It was an excellent experience in every way! You can see and feel immediately that Dr. Bainter is highly skilled and very thorough in the way she conducts the eye exam. She asks the right questions and listens intently to your answers. She was also patient and clearly explained her answers to my many questions. From the moment I stepped into her office, I knew I was in skilled and caring hands. Also, the office staff really went out of their way to help me use my vision benefits and were helpful in every other way. Thank you Torrey Pines Eye Care.

The reason I chose to go see Dr Zaveri was how he handled my husband’s detached retinal emergency. We went to the ER at Scripps Encinitas. He was the on-call Opthamologist. The ER doctor didn’t see any issues but referred him to Dr Zaveri, who kindly squeezed my husband into his busy day. He diagnosed a retinal detachment and got my husband the care he needed right away. I wanted an Opthamologist like that who was responsive and engaged. I went to his Torrey Pines Eye Clinic today. It was more like a spa than the crazy Opthamologist office I usually go to. The staff were better trained and Dr Zaveri is extremely skilled, professional and kind. I’ve found my new Opthamologist.

I’ve now had cataract surgery on both eyes and the results are astonishing! I had no idea what to expect and was somewhat nervous, but it turns out I didn’t need to be. I’ve ended up being corrected from nearly 20/200 to almost 20/20. The staff is very helpful and professional. The procedure was short (prep took longer than the actual surgery) and the results were wonderful. Dr Zaveri is personable and professional and truly cares about his patients and staff. I would certainly recommend his services!
