Total Eyecare

Total Eye Care Center is, hands down, the best that l have ever had anywhere at any time. Period. Yeah, I know it sounds like a guy who’s gushing over a typical decent experience. Right? Well if that’s the case, and you decide to take your business elsewhere before finding out for yourselves, that’s fine, but you will be passing up on receiving the services of the most professional staff l have yet encountered. In my 72+ years. Huh. Now it could be just some lonely old goat gushing, because someone was nice to him. Wrong! Not a single fly in the ointment, and trust me I’ve had my share of lackluster care from those who have a plaque on their wall. These guys are the real deal. Take it as you will. No skin off my nose. Roll the bones. Great Eye Care Center, and a refreshingly professional staff! And just for reference l have been in the top tier of precision manufacturing for most of my years. All the work had to be 100% the first time, for there was no 2nd time.

Update: they did call me after seeing this post, and it is evident they care deeply about their patients and the community. They thoroughly explained the billing process to me and the different scans completed to assess the health of the eye and why they are important. As I result, I removed part of my original post. In sum, my insurance covered the retinal scan but not the other scans, so I owed a small portion of the $49. I have never had a complaint about the care I received as a patient. They are working to remedy the situation and to ensure it does not happen again. I am confident that they will be looking closer at insurance. … If you go to total eye care, do NOT pay the retinal scan fee without them running it through your insurance. My insurance covers it (and I only have medical not eye) and they pretend like I’m the exception to the rule. Several other people I know with a variety of types of insurance also have it covered. If you are in network, insist they run it through your insurance prior to your appointment. Their new work around is to say that the retinal scan fee contains multiple different scans and you will have to pay more through insurance. They tried to bill it this way to my insurance to charge me directly and my insurance declined the coding saying the scans cannot be billed separately. Highly recommend going somewhere else with less deceptive business practices.

From my first step inside the building to my exit—the visit was great. Front desk, Kim, greets and explains forms to be signed. Very friendly and competent. George my technician was great! Friendly and explained everything he was going to do and what he expected me to do. Smooth and comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Audlin. Professional and friendly—answers all my questions without ever making me feel awkward. I recently recommended Total Eyecare to a co-worker who went to the Denville office—she was very happy!

Dr. Audlin is amazing and the entire staff in the Vernon office is great. Jesse in the Danville a pleasure to work with as well. Everyone is just very pleasant and professional !

I have been going to Total Eye care for as long as I can remember (currently 24 years old). I always recommend them to anyone!! I have been lucky enough to have stayed with the same eye doctor and never had any issues. The staff has always been amazing, office is always clean, and waiting time in minimal. I usually see Dr. Audlin who is AMAZING she has truly seen me grow over the years. Never disappointed when I see her. This visit I did see Dr. Patel which was my first time and she was very knowledgeable and listens as well. Overall Total Eye Care is one of the best eye doctors and I honestly have never had an issue with them in 12+ years!
