Total Vision PC - Novato

I had a wonderful experience here. Alan Is super knowledgeable and wonderful to help with the eye exam and choosing my glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses. The young lady, I didn’t get her name, at the reception is also really helpful. I highly recommend this establishment. You don’t feel like you’re in a commercial get them in and get them out optometrist combo store. I feel like these people really care and are professional and the personal service is very refreshing these days! I had trouble with getting used to my contact lenses and Alan took the time to give me a training so I knew how to wear them and I could call anytime I wanted with questions and he was very patient and knowledgeable with me. I don’t think you get that same service anywhere else.

Waited for a whole month for the appointment only to be canceled 30m before because they don't have equipment for my 3 year-old. Not only that I had to pull my kid from preschool in the middle of the day for no good reason, but now I'm set back 1 month waiting to get care for my kid somewhere else.

Total vision employees went above and beyond. From the first phone call to schedule my appointment. To the check in, the exam the trying on of the frames. It all went smooth. I would definitely recommend this place . Also Rubi is a very sweet gal.

Dr McCurdy, Nicky, Alan and the receptionist who greets clients are all fantastic. But the office manager is not personable, friendly or engaging. We went to pick up our new glasses and the office manager was the only one there to help us. She just handed us our glasses. She didn’t check to see if they were fitting properly. She didn’t check to see if my husband could read with the progressives. She never introduced herself so I had to ask her who she was. The most unprofessional person we have ever dealt with. Maybe she should find another line of work.

The staff at total vision wasted no time getting me into, and through the exam, and the doctor took a lot of time to explain everything they were doing, and what my results represented. Overall, a really good experience, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone else.
