Update: finally went up there to get my prescriptions & trial contacts. They gave me not only the incorrect brand but also the wrong Sphere based on my printed prescription. I arrived at 11:45am and the lunch break signs were already up and no one was up front to help me so I had to poke my head in to ask to be helped. NEVER again. Expect to wait for a long time. “Aliyah” on the clinic staff team is rude as can be. Her attitude is very unfortunate and she is not going to go out of her way to get you what you need. She likely will pass it off to someone else. Made the mistake of leaving without an Rx in my hand and can’t get one to save a life. Will not be returning!

Do NOT ever use this place to order eyewear. They are never open and service sucks. First appointment one of the ladies just didn’t come to work so there was a backlog of people waiting. First attempt at pickup they just didn’t come to work “for an event in Birmingham “. Whatever that means. Now my 3rd attempt they are “closed all day for inventory “. It’s a joke of an operation. There must be real professionals somewhere in Birmingham.

I have been here twice. The first time was a great experience. Today, I am here for a surgical follow up and vision check. Simone is the tech doing my exam. She is fantastic! She taught me things about eye pressure that I’ve never been taught. She made me feel so comfortable, too! I’ll be asking for her next time I’m here!

I took my son to this location today. Tammy at the front desk was very amazing, and kind to us. He didn't have an appointment, but they were kind enough to work him in. Dr. Morgan had him in and out within 15 minutes or less. I highly recommend the UAB Callahan Eye location in Trussville.
