I just want to take a few minutes to talk about what quality customer service is really about. Last Friday I forgot & left my backpack sitting on tracks of this machine, Cat 973 track loader, & moved it to get fuel. Needless to say I destroyed it and everything in it which included 2 pairs of prescription glasses, 1 regular pair and 1 pair of prescription sunglasses. I called “Doc” at Triad Eye Associates. Doc has been helping me for quite a few years now and I told him what I had done. Without hesitation he said “let me see what I do” and what happened after that initial conversation was remarkable customer service that’s hard to believe. Doc was able to get an identical pair of progressive lenses and frames ordered and shipped that arrived yesterday. That’s 6 days after my stupid mistake & 2 of those days were on the weekend. Nevertheless I got my new identical pair of glasses yesterday at an amazingly affordable price and Doc didn’t have to use my insurance to make this happen. Now I’m going to get a new eye exam and new prescription sunglasses and will still have my annual vision insurance to use for these. Customer service like Doc’s is extremely rare these days. This is why my wife & I keep going back to Triad Eye Associates. Doc’s knowledge and kindness will keep me coming back. I hope that they, Triad Eye Associates, know what they have in him and I also hope that maybe his coworkers will watch, listen,& learn from Doc. I can’t express enough gratitude for him. He is the best & wish I could give him 100 stars but 5 is maxed out. Thank you Doc & thank you Triad Eye Associates. You’ve got a customer for life….AND if you want to see what a bulldozer, track loader does to glasses, go see Doc at the New Garden store. He has what’s left of them. I suppose they’re of a trophy of stupidity on my part.

I do not recommend this place. I was not informed about a fitting charge before being offered new lenses, and afterward they attempted to charge me an additional fee. The lack of transparency about pricing was disappointing and unprofessional. Before allowing them to proceed with any service, make sure to confirm whether there will be additional charges.

The Huttos are the best. I preferred their office when it was smaller…felt more “homey.” People at the front desk aren’t as welcoming as the people that used to be there. They have some great assistants. But they still get 5 starts, because the Huttos are the best.

I've been seen by Dr. Neil Hutto and Dr. Stacy Hutto, and they both have been thorough, and have answered my questions fully. I think the things I like most about them is that they give me full information, and don't try to upsell me when I'm making a decision to select frames and buy glasses. When it came time to get cataract surgery, they were upfront about what would work and what wouldn't. I didn't need the more expensive option, and they didn't try to sell me into those.
