I have had 20/400 vision for as long as I can remember. From age 5 to 71 my vision has been a challenge. I’ve had “coke bottle “ lens; hard contacts; soft contacts; disposable contacts and numerous glasses and yet my vision was lacking and I suffered in silence while others told me how beautiful the world was. I met Dr. Jenkins about 12 years ago. She, during a check up, noticed that I had a small detachment of my retina. She set up an appointment with a specialist who took care of that problem. Since that time I’ve consulted with Dr. Jenkins several times about my eyes. About a year ago another doctor told me that I need to have my cataracts removed. I consulted with Dr. Jenkins and we waited and two weeks ago I had my cataract removed and a lens replacement thru her Laser method and I was so surprised and extremely pleased with the results!!! I not only can see incredibly well but the colors I see are brilliant!!! I look thru my other eye and I can see the huge difference!! I am so looking forward to the procedure on my other eye next week. This procedure is the best gift I have ever given myself!!! My vision is the most important thing to me now. How many years I have looked at the world thru tainted eyes. If you value your vision as I do then you will want the premier surgeon to give you the vision you deserve. And that person is truly Dr. Tyrie Jenkins! Mahalos Dr. Jenkins for helping me look at the world thru the eyes i should have had 71 years ago!
