Dr Kaplan was very thorough and did a great job with my exam. I felt very comfortable and confident with the results and his concern about my possible glaucoma. I will be going back in 6 months for another follow up

I can’t say enough about this office. I’ve now been several times, and the atmosphere is the most positive of any other professional environment I’ve been in. Update 5/21 - No one EVER reached out from the office. However, today I received a text message saying I missed a scheduled appointment. I never made an appointment. What is going on? ----- The front desk staff was amazing — super friendly and genuinely helpful from the moment I walked in. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ended. Tyson came highly recommended, but my visit was extremely disappointing. My contact lens prescription was checked the same day and stayed exactly the same as January 2025, giving me ideal vision. Yet the glasses prescription they gave me showed a dramatic worsening in just one year that makes absolutely no medical sense whatsoever. During the exam I was only asked toward the very end if I wanted my eyes dilated — with my trial contacts already in. I should have known right then this was going to be a terrible experience. They promised to email my paperwork later that day but never sent it. When I followed up, they told me they didn’t have it because the doctor had gone to lunch and needed to sign off on it. I reached out three separate times explaining the obvious mismatch with the glasses prescription. Each time they simply resent the exact same incorrect prescription without even appearing to read what I wrote. After multiple attempts to get this resolved and getting nowhere, I’m left frustrated and have no choice but to share my experience here. I really expected better.
