The students and graduates are always courteous and knowledgeable about the health of my eyes. My children love visiting the pediatric eye clinic and they always come out seeing better. UAB Eye Care also has a large selection of frames to satisfy different styles and National Brands.
Everything was efficient about the visit. The precheck, check-in and check-out. Everyone was super friendly, including Dr. Onken and his nurse. I would recommend this location and Dr. Onken to anyone who is looking for genuine high value healthcare. Wonderful experience. i will be back.
Dr. Joanndria Brown is wonderful. I highly recommend her if you are in need of contact lenses. My contacts arrived on time. I do not recommend buying glasses from them. I was told my glasses would be ready for pick-up in 15-20 days.... it's been 2 months, I still don't have them and no one can give me an update.
Dr. Caroline Pate and Paula did an amazing job going above and beyond to provide me a thorough examination. They're very courteous and professional. I'm very glad I went there.
LOVE!!!!! The only disappointment was my insurance didn’t cover. I only looked up dental and not vision. They helped lower the cost to pay out of pocket. Honestly I’ll probably go back and pay the extra amount to see them again. I’ve had issues in the past with Drs getting my prescriptions wrong. There’s nothing worse than not being able to see correctly. The sweet 3rd year intern Madeline took her time and figured out my correct prescription. That’s another thing. I hate being rushed in the which ones better 1 or 2 jazz with eye drs. Interns are slower paced and it’s just easier for me.
