The office was easy to find, the wait was minimal, and the service was juuuust fine, thank you very much. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about, but my experience here was good. I was referred to this clinic in particular by my optometrist, as he said they had a better selection of eye wear. He was right. Staff here is great. No complaints here.

While the doctors are great, this clinic is poorly managed. Waiting hours to see doctors/residents is ridiculous. Being told appointments take 2-3 hours regularly, when most of the time is spent waiting and you only see doctors maybe 30 total minutes of the time you sit there. It’s a shame that they devalue their patients, the patients family and time. I cannot recommend them and would suggest you find another provider, it truly is a waste of time.
I was not seeing well with my current glasses and was referred here to get my prescription glasses checked by my Glaucoma doctor working in UCDavis as well. I wear glasses over my contacts. I only wanted an appointment for glasses but they scheduled me for a contact lens evaluation as well. The new prescription given by Dr. Bernette was very similar to the one I was wearing. During the visual check I was asked to read the smallest characters first. This was quite the opposite of what other places did. I could barely read the small characters. I was never asked to read the bigger letters to check for distortions with the new prescription. The vision is worse with the new prescription compared to old one. They have a 90-day period within which you can get your prescription rechecked. I have been given an appointment that is two months out. My prescription glasses have to be remade within a 15-day window. But the appointment staff here are least concerned about this or my vision issues. All they care about is where I buy contact lenses and they have already blocked my insurance for contact lenses so that I cannot get it from elsewhere. This place primarily focused on business rather than patient care. I would avoid this clinic.
By far the best optometrist and ophtalmologist group. I really appreciate Dr. Barnett and Dr. Mannis for their prime service that allows me to see the best I can with many issues that exist with my eyes. Dr Barnett goes out of her way to make sure that the scleral lenses fit and addresses all the issues. In addition, the staff are very helpful and accommodating for scheduling and provide references when asked.
I had an appointment at 2:00 and they finally took me in at 4:07. After getting my teeth cleaned have waited for 30 minutes after my dentist said he'd be right back...still waiting.
