Fantastic store! My girlfriend and I came in to see about repairing her glasses frames. After an initial review, the store owner / manager gave us his opinion and said his technician would take a look. After about 15 minutes, his technician returned with the glasses fully repaired! Thank you!

Amazing experience! Dr Dong was awesome, quick to work with & got my eye exam done in less than 15 min. The staff quickly pulled up my insurance, told me what my vision covered & helped me reference frames that would fall in my price range. They have a wide selection of lower to high end eye glasses/ frames & sunglasses. Will definitely be back soon to buy new frames! Also support your local eye store instead of the bigger chains :)

Universal Optical are the best eyewear professionals in Chinatown and the lower east side and possibly the borough !! As a customer for a decade I can honestly say they have never lowered their standards or wavered when providing an exemplary service. If you need anything from getting your prescription updated to simply adjusted your glasses they do it all with a smile on their face and I love the service they always provide. All the staff are incredible and they always remember a familiar face which is very welcoming 🤞🏽🙏🏽 . They have me as a customer for life !!!
