Got there early for the appointment but the wait time was unbelievable. They did sort of apologize for the delay but overall we were there for well over 2 hours for an eye exam. This is not acceptable! However, the staff were friendly and very professional.
It was strange that patients were there before the employees. Especially the fact that the two patients had an appointment at 7:30a & 7:45a. They didn't open until 7:30a and then told us that we weren't supposed to be there in Wexford, but we were supposed to be in Oakland. Are you kidding me? We traveled a long distance away to get to Wexford and now we're being told to go else where. We eventually got it worked out. We weren't going anywhere.
My experience here was absolutely amazing. Dr. Ellen Butts is friendly and extremely thorough. She was able to diagnose an eye condition that was overlooked and untreated by other Optometrists for 15 years. I’m so happy that I found Dr. Ellen! I wish that I could give her 100 stars!
The entire staff, from reception to all of the optical staff and physicians were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This was my first visit here. I went for a plaquenil eye exam, but was also interested in seeing a neuro-opthomologist for another ongoing vision issue as well as to have a yearly eye exam. Their staff addressed all of my issues to the best of their ability within this exam in order to pass as much information on to the other appropriate departments within the facility for later follow-up. The exam itself was very through and I feel secure in knowing that in the coming years on this medication, my vision will have a very close "eye" kept on it for any changes. I also am very glad to know that they will be helping me with the more serious and pressing issue I've been having.
