Facility was clean and the reception staff was very cordial and professional. Dr May and her technician were awesome. They explained things very well and Dr. May explained the options for treatment and offered opinions for each type of treatment. My only complaint is the wait time to see a surgeon. Almost 5 months is a very long time to wait for a consult with the surgeon and then who knows how long to schedule surgery.

My personal experience at Ross Institute has been wonderfully amazing! Due to an accident that occurred last year regarding my husband's eyes, we were referred to Ross. We were impressed with the doctors & staff's professionalism, dedication, knowledge & experience. I can't say enough about Dr. M. Singh. His ability to translate the most difficult medical terms into layman's terms with such patience & grace is amazing! I was so impressed, I'm proud to say I am now also seeing Dr. Singh for my own visual needs.
Dr Patel is very nice and understanding BUT come on with the hold times I am currently in hold ...just over 28 friggin minutes to make an appointment. Clearly Ross either hires not enough people to handle things ...1 front end stuff petson was complaining loud enough that customers hear.
The doctors are great though you don’t meet with them long. Just be prepared to wait regardless of when you arrive. It’s very frustrating they do not run on time at all. I have to block out a full half day or entirely take the day because the timing is so unreliable. Even getting the first appointment of the day didn’t seem to matter. No reception to check in. They constantly have a “we apologize we are short staffed post. ” Receptionists are mixed some are kind and helpful and others are rude and very short. If they fix their wait times or reduce number of patients to accommodate the staffing they actually have, patient satisfaction would boost significantly.
Yes, the only reason why I like this place is because Jamie Schaffer works here. She works on the one in Orchard Park because she has her own office. She’s a surgeon. She did my grandson surgery. He had cancer and she got it all out. She’s wonderful. She’s the best. I would recommend her to anybody she I guess she works part-time @Ross eye. But the girls here at the front are very friendly. I wasn’t too long. We got seen, but they seem to know what they’re doing in there.
