I would normally give Bellevue Medical a 1 star rating. But I am currently here and have the best nurse! I have never felt so cared for by a nurse before. I have been hospitalized many, many times for alcoholism and alcohol withdrawal. We addicts aren't always particularly treated right when we come to hospitals for help. Nurse Brooke M treated me with a love and kindness I can't explain. I am so grateful for her. When I was scared, I wasn't going to be cared for right because I'm an addict, she made me feel safe. Like she wasn't going to let anything happen to me. Even stating at one point when I was supposed to go home, but couldn't yet. When she got back to work that night for her shift, she said, "For selfish reasons, I'm glad you're still here." And continued with her duties. But that statement right there will forever stick with me ❤️ That's never happened to me at any hospital, and I have been to every single one in Omaha, Bellevue, Nebraska City, Lincoln, a couple in Council Bluffs. She deserves to be recognized for her beautiful service and work she is doing here

I Have been spending a lot of time at the infusion center. The front desk ladies are amazing. Dee Dee is such a joy to see every time I come in. The nurses that do my Infusions for Fluids or Iron are phenomenal and so kind and compassionate. Everyone on fourth floor is phenomenal and I had excellent care the entire time I was in the hospital. I felt so cared for with kindness, love, compassion, and truly loving their patients. Thank you so very much. I have also had to spend a lot of time in the ER due to some very difficult diagnosis. I am treated with such care, respect, kindness, and compassion each time I go. They are very reassuring And encouraging despite all the pain that you are in. They take great action to try and uncover what the issues are and they also rule out all the scary stuff and they communicate extremely well with you. Thank you so much for all your wonderful care. I truly appreciate all of you. Thank you for all you do

I am extremely disappointed with the care my 69-year-old father received at Bellevue Medical Center. He underwent a hip replacement on Wednesday and was discharged the very next day. Before being sent home, he did not receive any physical therapy, which left us feeling unprepared for his recovery. By Saturday, he was experiencing severe pain, significant swelling, and shortness of breath, so we returned to the emergency department. A CT scan and ultrasound were performed, and we were told everything looked normal. While we appreciate that testing was done, it did not address the seriousness of his symptoms or our concerns. What was most upsetting was the lack of compassion. I had to physically help my father out of the hospital bed and into a wheelchair while the nurse stood by without assisting. Watching a 69-year-old man in severe pain struggle like that was heartbreaking. Throughout our visit, several staff members came across as rude and dismissive. Patients and their families deserve to be treated with respect, empathy, and dignity—especially after major surgery. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Bellevue Medical Center. I sincerely hope they take steps to improve both the quality of care and the compassion shown to patients and their families.

If I could give this hospital, a zero star rating I would. I will never step foot back in this hospital. I went there because I was having left-sided pain. My kidneys were angry. The next day, my levels were a bit better, but I wasn’t able to go to the bathroom. They sent me home or tried to send me home that same day when I couldn’t use the bathroom. They also told me They don’t have a urologist that can come there. Once I got to the main floor, they did not run any tests besides a bladder scan. They just poked me and gave me pain pills. The nurses were great. The doctors were terrible. There was a woman and a young male doctor on the floor of the days, I was there and they were some of the worst physicians I’ve ever dealt with. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. I’ve had a few bad experiences there, but thought I’d give it one more chance since it was close to me. these were the pictures of my urine test the day after leaving the Medical Center. I told him I was having upper right pain.

My Mom had a medical emergency Monday 11/25/24. My younger brother was with her Monday evening, and my other brother & I were with her on Tuesday. We felt the whole team that took care of her Monday & Tuesday did a good job. We met so many professionals, who were doing their jobs well. It seems to be a very busy place. There was a bit of a miscommunication about breakfast, but we got that figured out. The interior is beautiful. Whoever did the cabinets & the woodwork did a very fine job. The location of the hospital is perfect, just off of 2 main roads, Easy to get to, especially if you have an emergency. Thanks again to whole team.
