The staff at Upchurch Optical is very knowledgeable, professional, and willing to assist you in anyway they can. I was having some difficulty getting my lenses to work the most efficiently for me. Mike Upchurch stepped up and with his assistance, I am now seeing better than ever. I was in no way considered a normal adjustment, as I experienced Cancer in my left eye last year , was fortunate to have a successful surgery and recovery. Mike and his staff were exceptional in the service they provided for me. I strongly recommend Upchurch Optical to anyone who needs special lenses made or just need new glasses . They are the best!

After a few years of neglecting to get an eye exam I finally made an appointment here after it was recommended several times and I honestly am so happy I did! Not only did they take their time making sure the prescription was right and everything was adjusted well, but they also helped me find frames that actually fit my face perfectly. I have been able to see and drive at night comfortably for the first time in a long time, it’s made a world of difference to me. As a first time contact user, they were also extremely patient with me while training me to put them in and take them out which made a huge difference in my comfort using them. I was able to get Altius lenses to make long days in the sun coaching easier and protect my eyes as well. On top of that just a couple weeks after getting my glasses (that I love!) I accidentally crushed my new frames beyond repair. I was devastated, extremely worried I wouldn’t be able to replace them, but their warranty meant I was able to walk in and have my lenses placed into a loaner frame until my replacement frame comes in at no charge. It turned a nightmare into nothing but a small trip to the optical center, with zero judgement or stress. I can’t thank them enough!

Upchurch Optical is the best place in the Triangle to get glasses or contact lenses. I have been going to Upchurch for more than 30 years. They are very professional and take the time to help with everything you need. Mike and Lynn and all the staff are wonderful and caring. They also have the best prices in town.

Phenomenal customer service! I am a patient with sensitive eyes who has to come in regularly to have my progressive‘s adjusted and they are so patient and kind and able to correct the problem. I highly recommend this place. I never leave Google reviews, but they do such a good job that I decided to leave one.
